Blower moter does not work ( 2004 monte carlo )

Check for power to heater motor, if you have power then you will need a new heater motor. The heater motor is located under the dash on the passengers side. You can try tapping on the motor and sometimes it will start up (short term fix). There is also a resistor in behind the heater motor but normally the fan will work on one speed if the resistor is the problem.

How can i turn back a digital odometer in a monte carlo 2004

You should have your thermostat replaced if the computer threw a code for that. All it takes is a single incident of overheating to blow a head gasket. As for the whining noise, that wouldn't come from your MAF sensor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------KWP2000 Plus ECU REMAP Flasher Tunning

Can I repair a bad cylinder without taking apart the motor in a 2000 Monte Carlo?

Are you talking about compression readings? If so, and you only have 30 psi, engine is in serious state of disrepair. The cylinder head will have to be taken off to fix the problem-sounds like a stuck valve, a non sealing valve, or a blown head gasket. There's no way to get to it without removing the head. Apparently you had a compression test done? If you had done or would do a leak down test of that cylinder, it would pinpoint the source of the problem-whether an intake or exhaust valve, or a head gasket, or piston or ring damage. With a leak down test, wherever the air is escaping from the cylinder points to the source: if for instance, air leaks out the exhaust pipe, you know it is the exhaust valve not sealing in that cylinder. If air leaks out the intake-it's the intake valve. Air hissing from the oil dipstick tube would mean compression is being lost past the piston rings-going into the crankcase.

Were is that camsensor located

Fred is correct when he says it on the left side kind of in the middle. In any case below is a picture that should help. I know the power steering pump does need to be removed/repositioned in order to replace but I have myself been able to replace it without having to remove the upper intake to do it. also if you're getting a trouble code of P0300, I would look into the crank position sensor first as that has more of a job as far as how the car is timed and misfires. hope this helps.....2_18_2013_12_06_03_am.jpg

Key will not turn on in my 2004 monte carlo

Hi Jerin,If you have a good battery and the car is not electrically drained dead, either the tumblers are bad (not lining up for the key to turn) or the ignition switch is faulty/bad. I'm going to bet it's the latter. No offense, but Monte Carlos, though they are nice to look at, are electrical nightmares. I will be hopeful but very surprised if this is the only electrical problem you will encounter with this car. Either way you can't bypass the problem and unless you know how to work on your steering column, I suggest getting it towed to a trusted mechanic (doesn't have to be your dealer and they charge much more money than they're worth). Just call your mechanic 1st to tell them the issue and make sure they can get parts ordered for your car. Good luck!Kate
