It really runs hot within a minute of starting ? An engine that runs hot in a few minutes is often having problems with the water pump or a blockage in the cooling system. The thermostat does not open until 195 degrees which takes 5 or 10 miles of driving. During that time, the water pump should be circulating coolant in the block and the heater hoses. A leaking head gasket should be putting extra pressure into the cooling system, and-or dumping coolant into the cylinders which would come out the exhaust pipe. But it should still take a few minutes for the engine to reach the boiling point of 240 degrees.

sounds like the cable from shifter has loosened and is not moving far enough to register it is in park to allow it to release key should be a simlpe enough fix ,buti have not worked on one of those to help you further , alocal mechanic should be able to help u without too much hassle Good luck

check the fuses if ok check the bulbs and your bulb holders if ok broken wire .were it goes into the trunk/boot.

check the level of the fluid top up if low .check the color if black smell it .smell of burning get it changed need it flushed.

There is a round flasher unit in the fuse panel in most gm vehicles

Try carefully shaking the brake fluid reservoir or tapping on it. It may just be a stuck brake level sensor. If you are daring remove the cap, inner screen(carefully) and try to tap on the float for the brake fluid \switch to unstick it with a small screwdriver.

Are you sure you don't have the dim control set way down? If it is full on, check the fuses. Anything else that doesn't work? (i.e. interior lights???) They are on the same circuit.

Do you have the dimmer dial down or in the off position?Check fuse that controls the dash lighting.
