"...one light goes on another off." is the clue. The problem is either
* a break in the harness or harness connector; or
* a loose contact in the circuit board connector; or
* a crack in a trace on the circuit board; or
* poor grounding.
You may need a magnifying glass to find a circuit crack, and a small soldering iron to fix it.

Depends on just how dim it is. If not too dim, I would first make sure the bulb is the same brand/model you have installed on the other side. It is very unlikely it's a problem with the dimmer switch, but may be a problem with the headlight relay or connector pins at the headlight.

You're speaking of the throw out bearing - the pilot bearing is in the end of the crankshaft that the front tip of the input shaft rides in.
Do you have a mechanical or hydraulic clutch? If mechanical, there should be some adjustment provisions in the cable or linkage. If the linkage had been adjusted for a worn clutch, it may not have enough movement to release a new (thicker) clutch.
If hydraulic, make sure you have bled the hydraulic lines and slave cylinder to eliminate any air bubbles. Air is compressible and prevents the full movement of the slave cylinder to release the clutch.
I don't ever recall working on a throw out bearing actuator arm that has an adjustable pivot. Not saying there aren't any, but I've not seen one.

it sounds like the cable may be mis routed , making it tighter , or just may be to short , return cable and try another, hope this helps

My first guess would be a faulty ignition switch. There could also be a short in the wiring - there has to be power going to the fuel pump relay and the ignition to keep it running. You should be able to turn the key on and off and check those circuits with a meter or test light.

Down deep in the distributor there is a pickup coil did anyone check or replace it ? I find its easier to pull the distributor but mark position first.. then replace the pickup coil in the distributor.. that's about last thing to replace sounds like you have done the others.

This truck uses a high pressure fuel system, key must be on for the electric fuel pump, which is in the tank, to work. Fuel pump senses when pressure drops, so that it will shut off if there is full pressure, and engine not running. If there is lower pressure, such as a broken line, it will continue to pump, if the engine is running. If you're asking if it has a safety feature shutting it off in an accident, no it does not, except if the engine shuts off due to the accident, fuel pump will not work, unless key is turned off and then back on, and will then work for about 5 seconds and shut off, unless engine is started. If you're asking why the fuel pump doesn't work after an accident, it's most likely damaged, or a wire has been damaged, OR the computer maybe damaged (therefore telling it to turn on/off when key is on and engine running with key on and pressure is low, or at the right level to run the engine. Again, if you turn the key on and do not start the engine, fuel pump will work briefly for about 5 seconds to bring pressure up to where it can be started, then the fuel pump will work again when the engine is started (so the fuel pump isn't running with the engine off for very long.)

I'd check for voltage and ground for the starter. Any testing at the starter make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set. Some of the national brand autostores will test the starter for you, if you take it off and take it to them.
The battery has a full charge?
Can you turn crankshaft by hand?

There are 6 bolts that hold the bed on to the frame. Remove them all and the wire harness plug and it will then be free to come off.

There are 2 pressure switches on the refrigerant lines. Pull off a connector and short the wires on the connector. If the clutch engages then the pressure switch is bad.

Sounds like it is stuck in second gear. Overdrive only drops rpm by a couple hundred. In third gears you should still be less than 3,000 rpm.

Second gear is a default gear when the transmission is in limp mode. Is the check engine light on? Does it shift if you manual shift through the gears with the gear selector?

some just have a pan w/o plugs, easy way to drain ( if you must) start removing EVERY OTHER bolt in the pan, the from the back area, start working your way to the front going from side to side, and make way forward, usually weight from fluid pan starts to drop a bit, and fluid will drain, replace gasket when re-sealing

hi, i had same prob on my 95 c 1500 with 350 (5.7) mine was the throttle position sensor its on the right side of carb (throttle body injection) on mine think it was 20-30 dollars hope it works for u. Fishman out
