I am replacing a rear brake line, from the pump back, and there is a silver cylinder that the line goes into and comes out on located near the fuel tank. There is one on bothe lines....what is it?
It is a brake proportioning valve. Dealer only part.

i cant open the trunk on my 1998 pontiac bonneville, SSEi i took off the back seat, where is the emergency unlock switch inside the trunk
I had the same problem as you. Take out the back seat and there is a large access hole to the interior. There are two bolts that are fairly easy to get to. Remove them and the truck latch is removed from the lid and trunk will open.

checked for injector pulse while cranking with noid lite. no pulse. checked the purple wire for 12 volt, key on. checked ok. checked blk wire for continuity to pcm. checked ok. how to check pcm? which pcm pin is injector ground? where is ground located?
Ground points are in different locations throughout wiring harness. If you had any work done to engine it is very possible to have missed one of the grounding eyelets during the process of putting things together. Check along wiring harness in any area you can see or reach to try to locate any loose or disconnected ground looks.

where are all the relays located in a 98
I think it's above the cowl in the engine compartment. Download the 99 owners manual and turn to page 6-62
