Cylinder misfire on #2 cylinder,
Takes all to fire a cylinder (Fuel, Spark, Air & Timing) properly. Easiest to check is spark. Pull the plug and look at it. Is it wet and smell like fuel? If so, then swap it with cylinder next to it. If the problem moved, then its the plug. If the misfire is still on Cylinder #2, then swap the plug wire (both ends). If the misfire is still on Cylinder #2, then swap the coil. (see where this is going?) If the plug is dry, then check the fuel injector for operation. Noid light tester or you can get a long screwdriver and stick one end on your ear and the other on the injector - it should make a steady, rhythmic clicking sound if it is functional when car is running. No sound? Replace. Is the plug oily? Check cylinder #2 for compression. No compression or little compression means either head gasket blown or bad/sticking valve (intake or exhaust) = big money to get fixed. Timing on one cylinder is hard to test without correct test tools. Timing is likely not a problem on a single cylinder misfire. Good luck.
Low voltage
Have you tried fixing the errors that the ECU is reporting?
Hesitation on acceleration
Could be the throttle cable is loose or stretched , try adjusting the tension on the cable making sure not to tighten it too much as this could cause the butterfly valve to be slightly open which will increase idle speed.
Car is staling while driveing
Sounds like blocked fuel line. Happens often when the car is ran on nearly empty tank. All the junk at bottom of tank gets sucked into system. Unblock fuel line. Red.
Overheating
Your belt may be loose and not turning the water pump enough to circulate the coolant causing it to run hot, crank car up, have some one press gas pedal and watch belt turn,if not turning tightly, then belt or tensioner is bad.
Only one head lamp is working
I have the same problem. Are the tabs holding the bulb in the socket broken? Splice in a used socket from a junked vehicle, or use some Gorrilla (R) tape to hold it more firmly in the socket. It is stickier than duct tape.
04 nissan sentra shifting hard
Do you have a CVT? (Continuosly Variable Transmission) I doubt that you do so if you dont, nissans are known to have hard shift into second gear you mean.(Once the car moves, its already in first gear) so if it shifts fine into other gears, I wouldnt worry too much unless it gets worse.
Interior light do not come on
Hi Cathy,is your bulb good.If so,then check the switch at the doors, push in with your hand and see if it is releasing. Is there a switch at the dash?Open the other doors one at a time and see if the light comes on,if so then switch at driver's door is bad.You can get a meter and check it at the light to see if power is their. Also can check the switch with meter to see if power is there,if it is,then bad switch.
