2001 nissan frontier is blowing ignition fuses
Hi Brent,Wow! That is a dilema! The only thing I can think of is that there is possibly a wiring harness that is rubbed through and when the engine rocks when the clutch is engaged, the wiring harness is shorting to ground. If you can tell me exactly WHICH fuse is blowing I can possibly help you to locate the source of the problem. Please also include WHICH ENGINE your Nissan is equipped with and let me know if it is 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive.
How to reset power windows
As far as I know, there is no reset switch used on your vehicle.
If you reached in to unlock the doors, I can't really see a relationship unless you managed to somehow (if you used a slim Jim or coat hangar) going between the glass and the body of the door.) and got caught up in the window wireing (which is really reaching out there). Check your fuses. By coincindence, the windows just happened to stop working after you did that, doesn't mean it can't happen. One of my men tuned up a car. The customer wasn't gone more than 3 minutes and she came back yelling at me "What did you do to my speedometer?!!! Calmly, I asked what the problem was and she said it just stopped working, I said that all we had done was a tune up and were not even close to the speedometer and/or any of it's compnenets but would be happy to check it for her. It turned out that the cable was so rusty inside the caseing that it snapped in two. I showed it to her and asked her if she had noticed the speedometer needle jump around a little while she was driving? SO, I was off the hook!
I broke the timeing belt the distributer is jamed shop says i need a new motor whats the chance?
well you should look up to see if the engine is an interference engine meaning that the piston can't be at the top of the cylinder and the valves open at the same time or else they hit and if that is the case you might as well get a new motor or you have to take off the heads probably have the heads redone and then any damage to the Pistons be replaced so you will be rebuilding that motor anyways so either rebuild or new they do make some good rebuild out there that would save you some money and then just put all the components all the extras from your motor onto the rebuilt same would be done with a new motor
