Tracker wont always start. if you listen for fuel pump to pump and quit it will start, but this is after keying it off and on several times and removing key completely from ignition and putting back i

sounds like most of you have fuel pump problems disconnect the fuel line and check to see if any fuel comes through the line when turning it over, no fuel pump problem, or change fuel filter

Ligth "on"service engine soon

Po116 is a code for coolant temp sensor out of range. I would check the temp sensor data with a scan tool to see what it is reading. If it is lower/higher than it should be than there are a couple of possibilities.1. the coolant temp sensor is bad (or possibly the wiring to and from it)2. there may be an issue with the thermostat. Reading live data with a scan tool would be a good start. The temp sensors are not that terribly expensive and fairly simple to replace. It wouldn't be a bad idea to start with replacing it if you don't have access to live data on a scan tool. let me know what you find or if you have any questions. Thank you for using fixya.com!
