when carb is wide open ????? No carb ,fuel injection ???? Are the injectors being controlled by the PCM / ECM ??? Have replaced fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pump relay.???? Did you test first ?

Make sure you didn't connect a plug wire to a incorrect spark plug.

Rotate the oil pump driveshaft with a screwdriver if necessary.Align the flat (1) in the distributor housing toward the front of the engine.Install the distributor and distributor clamp. Click to EnlargeOnce the distributor is fully seated, align the distributor rotor segment with the number 8 pointer that is cast into the distributor base. If the distributor rotor segment does not come within a few degrees of the number 8 pointer, the gear mesh between the distributor and camshaft may be off a tooth or more. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.Install the distributor clamp bolt. Tighten Tighten the distributor clamp bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft). Click to EnlargeInstall the distributor cap onto the distributor.Install the NEW distributor cap bolts. Do not overtighten the NEW distributor cap bolts. Tighten Tighten the distributor cap bolts to 2.4 N·m (21 lb in). Click to EnlargeInstall the ignition coil wire harness.

Chances are you have a 4l60e transmission.(or one of its relatives) Shifting is done through the engine computer and internally by shift solenoids, on command. The system needs to be scanned to make sure that proper signals are going to the solenoids and that the solenoids are working properly.
By the way....I hope your engine really isn't turning at the rpm you stated....even Indy cars can't rev that high!!!

i had the same problem, if you are sure its not the pigtail on the fuel pump, pop the plastic cover off of the fuel pump relay, i used a paper shim between the points in the relay, so its always closed, worked like that several years

check fluid level if low add also look and smell fluid if dark brown and smells burnt change fluid and filter --

It could be taking off in a higher gear (not first).

the fact that you can start it at other times suggests that there is nothing wrong with the fly wheel , ring gear or starter have the fault codes rear have the fuel pressure read as it may be a problem pressure regulator loosing pressure overnight

It sounds like you differential gear noise by your description.

check voltage at switch

can of coke in the glove box?this sounds like a job for a garage mechanic.......

what sensor are you referring too.

You have the choice of either dropping down the gas tank or removing the bed/box as the pump is in the top of the gas tank. If you remove the bolts in the box you can tip it up and remove the pump but be sure to brace up the bed so it don't fall on someone, if you decide to pull the box to the rear you will need to take the tail light harness apart.

you will need to unplug the lead with from the dist. and then mark the balance with a mark you can see with the engine running and using a timing light check to see where the balance mark lines up on the timing tab. You can see the timing setting on the label on the support for the radiator support brace under the hood but I believe it should b top dead center.

Your truck uses hydraulic lifters, and there is no valve adjustment.
