How do you remove the battery from a 1992 corvette

Access is by removal of the exterior side panel. There are two 10mm bolts on top and bottom of the panel, the top needs to be removed, the bottom just loosened. There are 3 Torx screws inside the wheel well, difficult to remove with the tire in place unless you turn the steering to a stop, or use a Torx bit in a wrench. Bolt securing the battery on its base facing the driver seat needs to be removed.

Ac compressor will not kick in unless i ground the

You are bypassing the safety mechanism built in to prevent compressor damage. You either have one of two conditions, You truly have a low pressure condition(menaing you need an evac and recharge(fill the system with r134a gas) or a bad pressure switch. The switches are inexpensive replacing it will cost less than the charge to diagnose it, as such i would have it evacuated change the switch then have it recharged and a UV die added in so any other potential leaks can be found

My 92' corvette is hard

I can almost promis you have bad fuel injectors. it is a known issue on your car, replace the injectors with a set of bosch series II injects from fuel injector connection get a flow matched set with viton seals ... hope this helps search google for fuel injector resistance test if you want to verify the problem you can also go over the injectors with a hair drier if it changed the way the engine runs its the injectors, the build more and more resistance as they warm up... until failure

My 1992 vette runs over

Yes, most likely your thermostat is bad and your car is overheating. Its a simple job and even for your vette it shouldnt be more than 20 bucks for a new thermostat. Hope this helps! (rate if useful)

Car has not been started

When you turn the key on you should hear the fuel pump run for 10 seconds then stop. If this is not working look for it under the hood, it will be marked, and switch it with the headlight relay, they are the same. If this work replace the relay, if not and you know how jump the fuel pump at the relay plug to turn it on. If it wont turn on the pump is bad. the pump is in the fuel tank.

I have a lt 1 engine in a 94 z 28 that i want to

This will take some time ether way. I would rather go with the carb. but I'm old school. You can keep the Electronics and fuel injection from the Vette and reinstall on to the Camaro engine. Basic same engine. If you do not have a engine in the Vette to swap parts off of, then go with a good Edelbrock manifold and carb. This will be the easiest to set up and keep in tune. Its Christmas and family needs to know all your wants, it'll be easy to tell them. Manifold, Carb. & time to do it, plus a little help with the gas.

Will a LT 1 engine from a 1994 z 28 camera install

even though the LT 1 from the Z28 camaro and the corvette are similiar that is where it ends. Each car is programed differently, From the fuel pump to the o2 cencers. Alot of the wire connections will not match up if you do not change the wire harnesses. The computer might get fried if you try to "short cut" this project. Granted "some" parts are interchangable. Use caution when trying to interchange engines and transmissions. Aftermarket parts are avaible to make the swap easier. But its better to have a pro. do the swap and keeping it emissions legal.

Not getting gas. Every so often the car will not

try to measure the fuel pressure by installing pressure gauge at the aceess port located at the fuel rail, or try to direct fuel pump relay to positive volatge, there are two fuel pump relay at dashboard, 1 on under panel at driver side and the other one on passenger side, it is a little bet difficult to access this two relays, one easy step to try drecting fuel pump is through the rear side of your vehicle but be carefull doing this avoid spark, open the cover at gas tank cover, you will see the wires going to fuel pump at tank, take one wire, the gray or the dk/green and direct it to 12v dc, for a moment and start the car, obseve the difference, if same problem, change the fuel pump
