I need a belt diagram for a 83 Oldsmobile 98
go to net ..look at belt diagram 4 ur car > there's a lot of clearly diagramms for oldies.usually it shows this information on the tpo of the radiator systen in fron on u underhood
1983 olds 98, looking for blower motor relay.
The fuse will be marked "htr A/C".It might be on the very top row of 2 fuses or it might be in the center next to "B/U horn". There is also a resistor on the heaterbox beside the heater motor that goes bad quite often. It could also be a worn out fan switch inside the car. I would replace the resisitor first.

Is it the illumination lights? If so, that sounds like a bad headlight switch-when you put the park lights on (first click), it turns on the dash illumination lights.If it is warning lights or other lights on the dash, it could be a bad ignition switch.
I need to locate fuel
look under car on drivers side on the frame. it will be a round canister with a fuel line coming from gas tank and one coming out towards the engine. there should be a round clamp holding it to the frame. depending on what brand it may even read fuel filter on it.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
The wiper fuse keeps blowing,
The one that doesn't light is connected to a wire or a switch that is shorted. You will have to trace the wire leaving from there, find the short and insulate the bear metal part.
If the wire is intact then the wiper switch is defective, you will have to replace it. You can get it very cheaply at a breakers yard, you really don't need a brand new one.
I have a oil leek
thats a bad thing,the oil filter needs to be changed to stop the leak.if not, your motor is in danger!! after changing oil filter if still leaking, it may be oil pan gasket

Its the same system to the light. You could take the car to Sears or an other large auto parts store and ask them to check the chargeing system.They check it for free. Or if you have a volt meter, with the engine running check the volts at the battery. It should be from 12-14 volts. As long as it says 12.5 volts up to 14 volts then your alternator is chargeing and could be you battery is bad.
How do remove and replace the ignition switch of a
First disconnect neg batt cable, don't forget this or possible air bag
deployment.
Remove airbag screws behind steering wheel.unplug the plug
for bag and horn. Remove steering wheel nut.pull wheel. usually you can
grab both sides of wheel and vigorously **** one side and then the
other or use a puller.
Notice two marks on wheel and shaft for reinstall
line them up.now you are looking at a white turn sig switch.remove the
screws remove sig lever pull straight up on switch enough to lay aside
out of your way. Now there is a lockplate there.you will need to press
down on plate and remove lock ring (they make a tool for this called
lock plate depressor) remove plate. There is a torx screw right in front
of you remove this. Now lock will pull out.
