The top mechanism is hydraulic. Why did you move it manually? Be careful, the hydraulic tubing is plastic and you don't want to apply too much pressure trying to close it, you may damage the tubing. What happens when you try to 'power the top up'? Maybe if you have help pulling it while you try the switch.

Get the prop shaft rubber couplings checked iv just bought a new set for my c class as its doing the same thing if they go you will smash the transmition or at least ruin the propshaft mines on its ladt legs

IF you've checked voltage and found no power going the wiper system, then I would back trace the power line. Logic would dictate that if the fuses were good, and you have no power to the wiper system then there is either a relay in line that's bad or you have a broken wire in the circuit.

Are you sure it's the sensor? Most times the sensor will just stop working, not run out of calibration. Is your engine diesel or gas? The first thing I would do is take off one of the radiator hoses and have someone turn the engine over. It should spray coolant everywhere. If not the water pump is weak, and should be replaced.

Nice answer rustfarmer may I suggest spray some easy start in the inlet to identify if engine is sparking it would help to know if it is a fuel or ignition problem

Because it wasn't the brake light causing the ABS light to go on. It could be any number of things, and almost no DIYers are qualified to work on ABS system. Take it to a qualified brake mechanic and have it checked out NOW. Is your life worth the gamble of a few dollars? I've only had my ABS kick in ONCE, and I'm sure glad it worked when I need it.

probably burnt the compressor out. for ac work it pays to go to a pro that does ac for a profession especially with Mercedes. one thing done wrong could backfire to mega bucks..

More than likely a faulty fuel level sending unit inside the gas tank.

I would say it is the ignition switch. You can try to get the steering wheel unlocked moving it, but usually when the key won't turn, it is the switch or security system. You will need to reset it to find out. Call the dealership if you don't have it.

The only way to get a code for the radio is from the dealer. Give them your license and registration to show the vehicle is yours. Then they will give you the code. This is for free, so dont let them charge you money.
