All the Mercedes I have serviced over the years require a "special tool" to check the fluid level. It is a dipstick, just like for engine oil and has markings on it for "full" at various fluid temperatures. I'm not sure where you could get one. I have been fortunate in being able to borrow one from a dealership where I know the service manager.

Your public library will have a manual covering your mechanical repair. Moreover, they have the automotive shops online software called AllData. It is the best auto technician database available today. You can print out specific troubleshooting procedures, diagrams, step-by-step istructions, and soforth. The typical person cannot afford to pay for this service, just automotive dealerships, etc... that is why the public library made it available to everyone and for free to view and print out material. Sounds like the immobiliser needs to be reset or the key reprogrammed as there is a mismatch somewhere. A good mechanic or your local Mercedes dealer can sort this out for you

both of the bulbs on the right side are busted

Press the O button to shut it off or any other button. Usually when the E/C sticks on its an A/C charge or sensor issue so check that also.

any bulb blown will put this up including park/brake/courtesy/dash/instrument just need to find which one

Its a green relay with a fuse, should be in one of the two compartments behind the firewall

I would be looking for a rotor button in the distributor first as it is the easiest way to immobilise an engine replace all the fuses may fix the problem. Check for fuel in the tank as it may have been drained
