Cranks but will not start
Crank sensors and camshaft sensors are regular culprits for starting problems.
Best option is to get a mobile mechanic to do a diagnostic check on your car. Those guys are usually very good and it's worth paying for a diagnostic test rather than buying replacement part after replacement part in the hope of curing a fault.
Can I order parts?

Does my 2002 Chevy Impala have an idle speed control screw that I can raise my idle speed with
Well then you have a problem with the IAC - idle air control valve , air fuel mixture , mass air flow sensor , vacuum leak or some other problem with electronic fuel injection , OBD 2 ,emissions etc... There is an idle speed , minimal setting .Adjusting this will throw off the computer system , check engine light will come on an you won't be able get it to go out ! The PCM - engine computer controls the idle speed through the use of the IAC - motor or valve .
Idle Air Control Valve You need to have it fix properly ! Check engine light on ?
How to replace hazard switch on 2002 impala ?
I recently replaced the unit on my 2002 Impala thanks to a fix suggested by another reader on this forum. Despite the dealer stating that the dash must be removed and the switch released from the back, a simple, fast solution is as follows. Take a small, thin screwdriver and pull the triangular hazard knob off the unit from the front. Now take and slide a narrow, flat screwdriver along each side of the switch. This will release the tabs holding the unit and the unit will slide out. There is at least eight inches of cable that comes out so there is no danger of losing the harness behind the dash. Disconnect the harness, install the new harness and slide the unit back into the opening. The procedure took all of five minutes. Good Luck.
