I just had a buzzing sound happening on my 2000 Monte Carlo. It was coming from the Hazard button which is actually combination blinker\hazard switch in one. Turns out the ignition switch was going bad. The ignition switch finally went totally bad (no start some times). Changed it a couple of months ago. No issues with blinkers again.

The abs light comes on when a fault is detected with abs system. Your best bet is to have the abs system scanned for trouble codes. Typically loose wheel bearings, or broken abs sensor harness wires are the two most common causes for the abs light to come on. Interior Lamps The interior lamps consists of two groups, lamps that can not be dimmed and lamps that can be dimmed. This first group consists of lamps that may not be dimmed. This Includes those lamps that may be manually turned on by placing the interior lamp switch to the DOME position, or by opening a door or a compartment: • Auxiliary dome lamp (SEO, RPO 6C7) • Dome lamp • instrument panel (I/P) compartment lamp • Inside rear view mirror lamps • I/P courtesy lamps • Reading lamps • Rear compartment courtesy lamp • Sunshade vanity mirror lamps Battery positive voltage is applied at all times to the DIC/RKE fuse and to the switched side of the BATT RUNDOWN PROTECTION relay in the right I/P junction block. The DIC/RKE fuse supplies battery positive voltage to the coil side of the BATT RUNDOWN PROTECTION relay. When the ignition is turned to the ON position, the body control module (BCM) provides a ground to the Inadvertent relay control circuit. This energizes the BATT RUNDOWN PROTECTION relay and applies battery positive voltage to I/P BRP fuse and to the TRK/ROOF/BRP fuse. Battery positive voltage is also applied from the TRK/ROOF/BRP fuse to the: If the BCM receives a door lock or unlock input signal, the BCM will activate the BATT RUNDOWN PROTECTION relay, which provides battery positive voltage to all interior courtesy lamps. When any door is opened, the door jam switch contacts close and the BCM receives a door-open input signal. The BCM then applies a ground to the theater dimming ground control circuit illuminating the courtesy and dome lamps. After all the doors are closed, the courtesy lamps remain illuminated for approximately 40 seconds. The courtesy lamps will also turn on and remain illuminated for approximately 15 seconds after the ignition key is removed, prior to any door being opened. When the headlamp switch is placed in the DOME position, the BCM receives a ground signal. The BCM then applies a ground to the theater dimming ground control circuit. This illuminates the dome and roof rail lamps. The courtesy lamps will normally turn off using the theater dimming feature. The BCM provides a pulse width modulated ground to all courtesy/reading, dome, and inside rear view mirror lamps for the theater dimming feature. The BCM will immediately turn off the courtesy lamps if a door lock command is received with all the doors closed, or if the ignition switch is turned to either the ON or RUN position. The BCM activates the interior lighting output 15 seconds after receiving the class 2 message "Airbags Deployed" from the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM). The interior lamps remain activated for 25 minutes. The door ajar switch is part of the lock actuator inside the door !

Some makes and models, if you unplug the coolant temp sensor, the fan/s will run. Sometimes if you turn on ac the fans will run. Have you done any diagnostics? Any applicable trouble codes? How about checking applicable fuses--voltage and ground circuits for the fan?

Sounds like you need new crankshaft position sensor.

To install the valve you pull out the old one and just push the new one into place. Just be sure you put the new one in the same as the old one came out. They do have a direction of flow.

The expansion valve will be on the line for the high side of the system and if you look real close the line will have a dimple in the line and that is where the valve is. If I was you I would start checking at the condenser and if not there check just before it goes into the evap. However, it will be in the high pressure line for sure.

You can try to take a hold of the steering wheel and move it while turning the key sometimes chev get locked up when the steering wheel is at an odd angle. Good Luck.

Normally todays refills will only fit one size Schrader valve size so look at the dry and the line coming to it should be the low pressure side of the system. Just be sure you fill fitting fits the valve.

Reconnect all cut wires should be color coated match them back should be fine. Make sure wire color connection match same color.

If you only have 7 volts at that fuse your problem is in the power side of the circuit ! You need a power distribution diagram to find where that fuse gets it's power from , you have unwanted resistance in that circuit . It's not a ground problem , you need to do voltage drop testing on that circuit ! Do your brake lights work ? The power for the turn signal , ABS , Stop , an SRS fuse's in the left side instrument panel fuse block come fro the ignition switch ! Your ignition switch may be the problem ! SRS is air bag system !
