There is a king pin in the transmission that is engaged when it is put in park. If the vehicle is not at a stop when you put it in park, the pin shears off.

The compressor is mounted on top of the rear suspension crossmember at right side of vehicle. The relay is located on bracket by air compressor

Have your alternator tested for a shorted stator

This could be a ground bus connection that is bad. You have to take the whole panel out again and trace wires to see where the ground bus connection is .

Because your heater as been "wrongfully" connected to the inner light bulb power cables.

The 1991 Riviera and Reatta had power supply modules which we often had problems with at the dealership when they were still under warranty. Sometimes you could tap on them and make the problem come and go to diagnose.

check the dash is sitting right, push on the dash. if this fixes it then you have a bad connection to the board pins on the back. if not there is a board in the dash that has failed usually down to a capacitor going, this age being a 91 model it dont cost a;lot for the capacitor/s to be changed but you will need some sodering skills to replace it/them.

Check for blown bulbs. If both front and rear are blown you may have a bad socket or wire causing a the circuit to ground out. Or it could be a bad t/s switch.

Check for brake light switch staying on. Also reading light switches get stuck on. Does your electronic leveling system remain on when the key is turned off? Can you hear the heater blower running when the key is off after the door is opened? The last one may be the blower control module keeping the blower on. It's located under the dash on top of the blower box.

run fault codes and look for a TCM problem. Check oil level in gear box

Rust , corrosion, bad ground wires, Clean up ant rust you see where there is a connection...nice fresh metal solves many problems
