Antifreeze getting into throttle body

The 3.8 liter for this year has a plastic intake manifold. These manifolds are known to fail around the EGR port. When this happens coolant will leak into the intake right behind the throttle body. Dorman makes a replacement upper plenum that has been reinforced in this problem as along with a new gasket and an updated EGR tube. This will more than likely solve your issue. If you see a little coolant behind the throttle body this repair needs to be done ASAP. If this area completely ruptures it will hydroloc the engine. This means that coolant will fill one or more of the cylinders and the engine will not turn over/start. We are tryng to remove a water pump from a 1998

there is a hole in the pulley for the power steering unit. That hole accesses the bolts to drop this unit down and then you can change the water pump. The trick is getting these two bolts lined back up to reinstall it

I have a steady stream of white smoke that is

if it is the head gasket you should have steam or fumes coming out of the water jug as sone as you start the car. Check your fuel pressure regulator by removing the hose off of it. Does gas come out of the hose or regulator? if so replace the regulator. Hope this helps leave comment.

GRAY SMOKE COMING OUT MY TAILPIPE 1993 TOMATO

Bad rings or blown head gasket. You'll have to replace both to replace the rings so I would go ahead and replace the rings and Head gasket and have the valves checked while you have the head off. Paying a little more now is well worth it trust me.

How hard is it to change serpentine belt?

I'm not familiar with this specific model, but usually they are not too bad. There is a spring-loaded tensioner pulley, usually it has a hole for a 3/8 or 1/2 inch ratchet to remove the tension, then you just slip the old belt off, put the new one on following the same routing pattern. On a car this old, I would replace the tensioner at the same time, the spring could be weak and allow the belt to slip. Ask your auto parts store worker for more details. Usually the tensioner is held on with three or four small bolts, but you may have to remove the belt first to reach them.
