goto a oldsmobile website or gm and you will find it they are really easy to do , 4 bolts make sure you remember the belt configuration when you take it off , they are easy to do , save your antifreeze , get a new water pumg and thermostat and belt while you are doing this and hoses too

ok matt, think for a minute....if gas is coming to the carb or injectors from a gas tank there would be a regulator in between the two yes? on my car some like it by the tank under the car anb and some up by injector rail or carb intake ive got faith you can do it

your car is internally drinking the coolant a top end problem like cracked head or a bad head gasket will blow white smoke being the coolant being exhausted

Which pulley are you referring to? If it is the one at bottom of the engine that all of the belts go around, you won't get it to move unless you start the car. when you say it won't move, do you mean it won't spin or won't shift position to allow slack in the belt? If it is the alternator not moving, you need to loosen the bolts holding it to the bracket and then slide it so the belt will go on. Did you simply cut the old belt off without loosening the alternator first? Usually the alternator and any other accessory items sharing the belt have to be loosened on their brackets to get the belt on and off and then tightened to get it back on.
