Battery runs down after 3days.

Either the battery is just old and cant hold a charge well, or you have something sucking power while the car is off. Sometimes batteries just start to do this with age. If you noticed that it takes 3 days of NOT DRIVING to drain battery, try unhooking it (battery) for 3 days, rehook it and see if its dead or good. If its still dead, id say the battery is shot. If its good, id say you have something drawing power from it in the car. Normally its some thing thats an "add on"...... car stero, tv, trailer hitch, cd player, ect ect

What 4 speed automatic transmission came in a 91

The transmission you have installed is a GM 4T60E. There are a number of shift kits for this transmission. You can put both the 3.8 & the 4T60E into a Fiero with some modifications. I suggest doing some searches online as there is a number of tutorials on how to go about doing it.

1987 olds regency ninety eight has spark, fuel,

The spark and fuel both get there reference from the crank shaft sensor , so as long as the crankshaft is turning and the sensor and module are good you will have spark and fuel, it sounds like one thing you are missing is compression I think you should see if you have lost a timing chain, does the engine seam to be turning over at a very fast speed? pull a spark plug and check for compression.....SORRY TO BE THE BEARER OF BAD NEWS

Changed tps now car idles very high, will not idle

The throttle positioning sensor must be adjusted, it's not just a bolt on application. This should be done by a qualified mechanic as it is a very sensitive setting

91 olds 98, 3.8 v6. changed the tps now it idles

Some TPS Sensors are adjustable. Usually held on by two screws, loosen the two screws slightly to twist the sensor either counter clockwise or clockwise. You should be using a scanner when installing a new TPS so you can visually see the values. If there is no adjustment on this particular one you may just have a bed new TPS. Make sure after replacing you clear codes/disconnect battery for 10 minutes and reconnect.

How much does it cost

It depends on your area. You can replace the ignition switch portion yourself. However the key lock has a chip on it that tells your cars computer it is ok to start. The dealer will have to re-program your cars computer to tell it that that key lock cylinder is ok to start the car.

Engine turns over but doesn't seem to have spark

One possible cause is a bad ignition module inside the distributor. The center high voltage wire on the distributor cap to the coil should also be checked for corrosion.

What is recommended battery voltage?

It is not in the battery voltage but it is in the Ampere hour in the case of car or automotive batteries
So I think a 12Volt/65 AH battery could be good enough.
