My electric seat adjustments on my 97 olds regency

There is a fuse and or a relay you need to be looking for. Also for the fuse to be blown something has had to have shorted out. It could have been water causing the short or you have a bad wire somewhere grounding out.

Radio and A/C cut completely out, preceded by a slight electrical snap. 2. Driver Information display shows gibberish writing. Once in past, we corrcted this problem by disconnecting and reconnecting

There is a fuse at the passenger side footboard that has blown. Sitting in the seat, your toes point to the panel that needs to be removed (bottom of glove box facing down). There should be a 15a fuse in there that has blown. Replace it last. First you need to find the short behind the radio and a/c control panel. Sometimes they are difficult to find but look carefully around areas where the wire harness has been near a sharp corner or surface. You should find it in there. If not, the short is located in the main harness near the fuse panel. I wouldn't advise going in there, you should just take it to an automotive electrical specialist if you cannot find it because you will pull your own hair out trying to find it and it really isn't something that I can easily tell you how to do. Those starting points should help you out though and Good Luck!

My ar does not want to turn on and back fires is it the fuel pump

To be sure its the pump spray some starting fluid into the intake and try and start it.If starts runs for a few than dies most likely the fuel pump..You can also after doing that have someone crank car over and beat on the gas tank and usually if the pump goes bad you can get it to work by hitting the tank while someone is cranking it...Its not a permanent fix but will answer you questions... Heater blower will not come on

The Oldsmobile and other makes with electronic control board's are plagued with problems. Call your local auto recyclers and get a replacement switch. As far as changing the switch once out of the dash it is just a matter of disconnecting it and hooking up the new one, fairly straight forward . You may need a torques screwdriver to remove it from the dash. Mike

1990 olds 98 blower motor

I would start at the fuse. Does the blower motor turn off when the fuse is pulled? A relay is usually used in this circuit and can sometimes "stick" allowing the blower motor to receive constant power. A quick check to see if it is a wiring problem, switch or the relay its self would be to find the blower fan relay and see if there is another one of the value you can swap with it. If the problem goes away, chances are it is the relay but I always like to take a volt/ amp reading to double check my work.

The car cuts out losses

check your alternator - this is more than likely the cause. advanced auto or oreily's should be able to check this for free.

if that isn't the issue - you probably have a bad ground in your electrical system. could be expensive.

HoldAfter car heats up from

It sounds like the fuel filter is either plugged or the pump is failing, there is also a possiable problem with the Mass Air Flow Meter located in the rubber intake hose, make sure these hoses are ok, and have no cracks or clamp leaks, this allows air to bypass the meter and will make the engine have a severe hesitation off idle.

Oldsmobile barada Frost plugs need diagram

Nothing specific as engine number is not disclosed but; Typical plug sites are in the side of the block under a manifold ; at the back, inside or above the clutch housing - awkwardly near the bulkhead; and in the top of the cylinder head, often hidden under an overhead camshaft . Plugs can blow out completely, resulting in a sudden loss of coolant.

1990 Oldsmobile 98 just stops running after pulling off fires back up

Does the service engine stay on after you have restarted the vehicle? If so connect a scanner to see what codes come up. Could be as simple as an idle adjustment.

1998 Oldsmobile. Why won't my blinkers blink, yet they turn on?

Question edited for clarity. Oldsmobile make so many models, but you don't give any clues :>D In many vehicles the blinkers are controlled by a signal from the Body Control Module. The link says the relay is part of the hazard flasher. https://www.google.com/search?q=1998+Oldsmobile+blinker+function It sounds like you may need an auto electrician. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..
