if your car looses power then regains it only to loose it again then try putting a fuel treatment in the gas tank. Make sure it is one that removes water.

When engine cold , find coolant reservoir , usualy of white or yellowish container with black top and cap.
It has marks on it FULL and LOW.
Fill it up to FULL level and you done.
If it does'n have any coolant in there , then fill it up and run the engine for few minuts with open reservoir cap. Keep filling it up if level goes down , once it's stop or start to going up, close the cap and drive it around the block ,cause they have self bleeding cooling system.

There shouldn't be any fuses under the rear seat. I have an owner's handbook if you would like one. [email protected]

do you mean software??? anything after 2005 is encrypted and only the factory has it ,dealers do not have it because they have to connect too the internet to access it direct from the factory.Stops people like me and you from repairing the cars

COOLANT CAN BE EVAPORATING IF MIXTURE NOT RIGHT.ADD 50/50 ANTIFREEZE AND WATER.MORE WATER IN COOLANT SYSTEM WILL CAUSE COOLANT TO EVAPORATE.

if you can check the plug and the wires for that seat... sounds like a localized problem so that is where i would look next.

A 2002 S500 actually has 3 differant fuse boxes.
2 of them are located under the engine hood, they are both against the firewall in the back corners of the engine compartment. The fuse box on the drivers side of the firewall has most of the common fuses in it.
The last one is located under the rear seat. There is a access panel below the passengers side rear seat, just unclip the plastic panel from the top.
Fuse chart can be found in the rear with the spare tire tools.

Just a idea, but if you havent already changed the original battery it could be that. Many new alarms malfunction on purpose when the battery starts to go. The vehicle may run well, but the battery is going weak and may even test good

Check fuel pump fuel filter and fuel lines and fuel regulator.

I presume you've changed the batteries? If the batteries are good I don't know what to tell you dude, might need a new one
shake the key while holding it close to your ear, if you hear something moving inside the key then you need new key. there is a chip in those keys that if it comes loose you need then a new key. unfortunately it's not very cheap, key cost a little over $150. just order the key from the dealer, and if they tell you they need to reprogram the key in the car tell them you just want the key, because the key reprograms itself. all you have to do is put it in and let it sit there for less then 1 hour, and it reprograms itself. some dealers will tell you they need to reprogram it so they can charge you an extra $100, but in reality you don't need the re programing, just let the key in for less then 1 hour, then it is ready. hope this helps u please rate me................. thank u for using fixya regards sivaranjini

If the front part of your car is not locked you might be able to get into the boot by removing the rear seat(s) - or folding them down.

With some cars you may be able to slip a coat hanger between the boot lid and frame to pop the lock.
