Where are the sparks plugs on a 1998 mercedes
all spark plugs on ANY engine will be screwed into the head, they might be burried under a cover, easiest way to find them is to follow the ignition wires from the distributor (older models) or coilpacks (newer models), ALL spark plugs are either a 13/16" or a 5/8" deep socket. they screw in clockwise and screw out counter clockwise, to remove the ignition wire from the spark plug just grab it firmly by the boot and pull gently but firmly as you do not want to break the connector inside the boot off the wire, they are a pain in the *** to reattach. when you are done push the connector back onto the plug until you feel it "click", and it will be a noticable click, depending on the brand of wire you might even hear a faint click.

I want to reaset service light on my E320 1998
1
The "Wrench" symbol will appear in the odometer field to
indicate it is time to service the vehicle. To reset, turn the ignition key to
position 2. Immediately press the button next to the display twice within one
second. The present status for days or distance will be displayed. Within 10
seconds, turn the ignition key to the 0 position. Press and hold the button
while turning the key to position 2 again. The status for days or distance will
be displayed again; continue to hold the button. After 10 seconds, a signal
will sound and the display will show 10,000 miles (15,000 km). Release the
button.

Hi, could you tell me where glow plugs are located
they are located in the side of the cylinder head. same location a spark plug would go on a gas engine. they will all have a wire going to them with a flat metal connector connecting to the glow plug.

SRS light is staying on
Well there are some who say you have to turn the steering wheel all the way left, put the light on and off and then turn it as quick as possible to the right and do same with lights, reality is that normally it does not work so you have to find a mechanic that has a diagnostic for Mercedes and just reset it, takes about 5 minut but cost few good bucks.

I have a mercedes e430 1998
Could be, I would ask a dealer to check that it would be the quickest way to identify a alarm issue. Not alot of documentation roaming around freely about them.
Could check relays for the system and fuses.
www.benzworld.corg and
www.peachparts.com are great places to find info on your specific year and see if anyone else is having the same issue.
