Mercedes 300td wont start
It's likely a bad glow plug relay found on the left fender well. You may have bad glow plugs as well. You should hear a faint click when you turn the key to glow psn. . Open the hood and have someone glow it. The click should be abvious and the wires will run from the relay to the glow plugs. also obvious.

Change headgasket on mercedes e290
Rather involved , Will require a full set of workshop tools including torque wrenches. I advise against it . But if you decide to go ahead buy a workshop manual and follow it to the last word.

1999 e320 mercedes wiper problems
Sounds like the wiper control relay is going bad. I think it is mounted in the fuse box under the hood or just behind it.

MB E290 diesel. DTC P1403.Problem
Look for a green male to male vacuum damper on the vac line.
It look like a mini inline filter.
Size is able 3/4" diameter X 1"
It's tapping off the main vac line.
If your engine has high mileage then blow oil can enter the vac line.
The green vac damper can get gum up with oil vapor and keep vacuum control device from operate at the normal setting.
====
You can use 70% rubbing alcohol and water to back flush the green vac damper.
Make sure you let it air dry before re-install.
====
You should change primary and secondary fuel filters to rule out fuel related problem.
Inspect fuel hose and clamps to rule out air enter into the fuel system.
Check for leaks around the primer pump.
