I have a Nissan Almera

I have a Nissan Almera diesel 2,2 liter engine, year 2000. It stopped running just like that, without any pre-announcement. I could not start it (It swings but the engine does not start).
The launch X431 gave me the folowing fault codes:
1. P1600 P3-pump comm line.
2. P1690 P5-pump c/module
3. P1251 P4-SPILL/V CIRC
I erased the fault memory, but the engine still does not start. Now the only falt code shown is the last one (P1251 P4-SPILL/V CIRC), and I do not know what it is!? How bad is that?
Can anyone help me?

thanks a lot.

Solution #1 is not correct.. reason, why engine does not start when those codes are shown, is pump control unit (PCU), or electromagnetic valve. You should give PCU to fix (mostly it's broken transistor inside) or to change you current PCU to the new (need to be programed) or buy whole new VP44 PSG5 pump.
Sorry for my broken language :)

1994 Mercedes c280 high beams not working...

My 1994 c280 headlights will only work in the low beam position, not the high beams. I found a bad right high beam fuse, checked all the other fuses which were good, replaced this bad one but this didn't solve the problem. I'm thinking it might either be the tree on the steering column, the bulbs themselves which may have blown their high beam capabilities or some type of headlight relay that I may be unaware of. Any thoughts about these conclusions or any of your own I may not have thought of? I have a 1996 c280 with headlight problems, thr first time the lights intermittedly so I replaced the switch, worked for awhile, now just the fog lights work, so I replaced the headlight switch again no change at all, all the fuses are good, the light bulbs are good, is there a relay and where is it located. looking for any help

At first 1994 C280 high beams began to not connect regularly when stick pushed forward, then not at all. Drove high beams by pulling and holding stick back towards steering wheel until that stopped working, too. Shop said the turn signal switch was at fault-- had seen it many times before with W202; about $160 to replace. Haven't done it yet, but should be an easy fix?

check your main harness wire. The harness wire becomes brittle and will eventually short circuit your car. Stalling and hard starting is the initial symptom. If not replaced soon, your car will smoke and eventually affect your computer box

AC Will not turn on in 1997 E320

I have a 1997 Mercedes Benz E 320. My problem is that my AC does not work. The reason is because there is no power going to the Air Compressor. The air compressor still works great when jumped by electric but shuts off as soon as the jumper cables are pulled off. I replaced the climate control panel but the red light on the EC button or the on and off switch for the Air Compressor is still lit so the control panel is not the problem. Any suggestions or thoughts?

HI. Here is a complete check list that will help you trouble shot thsi issue. You will find the problem in one or more of these areas stated below.

1. Check Drive Belts - The air conditioner utilizes a drive belt that supplies power to rotate the compressor, which is basically a refrigerant pump. If the belt fails the compressor has nothing to drive it, inspect and replace as needed to restore operation. If belt is intact proceed to the next step.

2. Check for Compressor Clutch Engagement - Turn the air conditioner to the "on" position and set controls to the coldest setting. Start the engine and allow to idle. Then open the hood and inspect the clutch at the front of the compressor, is it turning? "Engaged" if so, the system has enough refrigerant to activate. If the system is low on refrigerant it will not work properly. In this case an air conditioner recharge kit is needed to recharge the system. If the system is low on refrigerant it could cycle on and off, making a ticking noise. If the compressor clutch is not turning proceed to next step.

3. Inspect for Refrigerant Leaks - If the system has a large leak and no refrigerant remains it will not activate. First test system for a static pressure charge, with the engine off attach an ac gauge to the low side pressure port and check the state of charge. Depending on outside temperature there should be between 50 psi and 80 psi. (Cool and warm). A refrigerant leak detector is needed to inspect for leak, but if you do not have a leak detector there is an alternative method. The air conditioner system is designed to run with oil suspended in the refrigerant to lubricate the system. Check for oily residue outside the system by inspecting all hoses, compressor, condenser, evaporator or receiver drier and replace any component that has failed.

4. Inspect Fuses - Check under dash panel and under hood power distribution center. Replace failed fuses as needed, recheck system. If the new fuse fails when reinstalled a short circuit is present and requires diagnosing with a wiring schematic, follow circuits to locate short, repair as needed and recheck system.

5. Check Temperature Control Vents - The vents inside your car are controlled by a cable, electrical servo or vacuum servo. If the temperature blend door is not functioning properly it will cause warm air from the heater to exit the vents. To check this start the car and allow the engine idle, next turn the blower motor speed on low, switch the temperature control from warm to cold while your ear is close to the vents. You should hear the door move inside the heater box as it swings from open to close. If not, insect for a vacuum leak or a shorted motor in the servo, repair the leak or replace the servo motor.

how to reset airbag for mercedes benz c220 1994

how do i reset airbag light(SRS) for mercedes benz c220 1994 model

This can not be reset by conventional methods. This must be done through a scan tool. Usually only the dealer scan tool will communicate with the SRS module. If the SRS light is on you have other issues and they must be remedied before the light will go out. There is no way of knowing what the issue is without running codes with the scan tool.
