Remove radiator from 1993 mercedes 190

First remove the fan shroud - undo the two clips on the left and right by pulling up. It should be possible to now ease the shroud upwards passed the fan. Drain the coolant (there is red valve on the right hand side lower corner of the radiator for this purpose) Remove the top and lower hoses. Un-clip the side panels that fill the gaps either side of the radiator aperture. Remove the two top clips, by pulling them upwards, that secure the radiator to the car body cross member at the front. The radiator should just lift up and out. Beautifully simple German design.

1993 190e-2.6,mercedes benz unable to find tension

tensioner should be kind of centered as you look at the motor. There will be a plastic cap over the center of the pulley hiding the nut. Put a socket and breaker bar on that to release enough tension to remove the belt.

Changed the water pump on my 1993 Mercedes 190E

Charge or replace the battery , if the starter clicks its just lacking the power to turn over. If its a relay clicking then you may want to put your car in neutral and try as your car is equipped with a neutral safety switch. You should have not disturbed anything that would keep it from starting so try that and well go from there.

Should have 2 fuel pumps but if the pumps are shutting off it sounds like the fuel pump relay. Go to benzworld.org for many solutions to MB issues.

L want to known the best diesel fuel injector

The fuel injector for these can be rebuilt. You can get the "nozzles" from Mercedes and then unscrew your injectors and replace the component inside. They come in little plastic containers and are very specific to your engine. Valve adjustment is very criticl on these engines and will affect performance profoundly. Let me know if you ned anything else or any maintenance tips or tricks.

How do I check the

Hi!!

Some systems have a Schrader valve that can be used to check pressure from the fuel pump (A Schrader valve is the kind that is found on tire valve stems). Remove the threaded cap from the fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail to find the Schrader valve.

Use a special hose that has a Fuel Pressure Gauge on one end and a schrader valve adaptor on the other. (Available at your autoparts store, AutoZone may have a loaner)

Place a small rag under Schrader valve and attach Fuel Pressure Tester, if gas was spilled on rag, remove it and start vehicle, the pressure should be between 77 - 80 PSI (Pounds per Square Inch). If pressure is lower, replace fuel pump.
If no Schreader valve present, (IMPORTANT: RELIEVE SYSTEM PRESSURE by following the instruccions below) use a fuel supply line adaptor to hook the Fuel Pressure Tester, then loosen the fuel line clamps on the fuel rail, if so equipped.

If these lines have quick-disconnect fitting, (RELIEVE SYSTEM PRESSURE FIRST) grasp the larger collar on the connector and twist in either direction while pulling on the line to remove the fuel supply line.

Relieving Pressure from Fuel System
A very simple procedure for bleeding pressure from the fuel system is as follows:
  • Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector or remove the fuel pump relay or fuse.
  • Crank the engine briefly to drop the fuel pressure or run the engine until it stalls.
GOOD LUCK

No heat fromm heater 1992 190e 2.6.

The stop leak has most likely clogged the heater core. Or the blend door for the HVAC isnt working in the dash anymore. Either way a big job to fix them.
