Serv 4wd lite on but no lites on 4wd selector
Check Fluid in Front diferental. It has a sensor that when fluid levels get low it will flash a light. If it is low I would recommend adding Lucas Diferental additive and finish filling with dex-merc trans fluid
How do you replace front crank seal on 02 avalanche
The front crank seal is behind the oil pump on the LS series motors. There is also a seal at the crankshaft and harmonic balancer on the front timing cover. This is typical leak area. You can carefully remove the harmonic balancer with a puller, replace the timing cover seal and reinstall. Make sure not to pinch the seal lip You will have to have a special tool in order to re-install the balancer, which is extra long to squeeze it on the tapered shaft. I do not think the other crank seal is an issue since it drains to the pan behind the oil pump.
Abs Is engaging irratically on 2002 avalanche
Did you bleed the system after doing the brakes? and since you din't say abs light I assume you mean the brakes are acting erratically. If you bleed the breaks first after that try it and if it still does it make sure you have the correct rotors and pads.
How do I get a brake light sensor back the brake pedal of a 2002 avalanche
Get a replacement from a Chevy dealer and it should be obvious as to how it is installed.
First check to see that the one you have is just not out of adjustment. It should screw into a bracket with a locknut. Also check that the bumper on the pedal that presses on the switch is OK.
Lay on your back on the floorboard of the truck with a flashlight. Wear safety goggles so nothing falls in your eyes.
