How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a

Open hood
On top of core support are 2 metal rods with L shaped ends. Turn the rods out of the plastic holders. Now lift rods out. Take the head lamp out.
Look behind the head lamp.
See an almost round piece with 2 or more wires?
On the side of it is a tab. Push the tab in and turn and remove. Now see the bulb? Okay unplug it & plug in the new one. And reinstall lamp.

My truck (2000 tahoe 2wd) feels like it is losing power

Hello chowhound196: My name is Roger and I will help you. First I would change the fuel filter. If you still encounter problems I would check the fuel pump pressure. You did not state what engine is in your truck . So for a 4.8 0r 5.3 v-8 engine the pressure should be 55-62 psi. key on engine off. on a 5.7 engine the pressure should be 60-66 psi. Any pressure less will cause the engine to loose power to a will not start problem. There is always the possibility that the exhaust converter may cause a problem or the computer could cause a problem. A quick check for codes or a check engine lamp on would be cause to check the ecm for codes. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. This way I know it was helpful Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

My 2007 chevy tahoe wont start

If it tries to start but will not run, make sure it has fuel in the tank, check the fuel pump relay then the fuel pump and fuel filter. If it makes a repeated clicking sound when you try to start it, then the battery may be bad which should be checked along with the alternator. If you turn the car on and the radio works along with all the lights, etc. and it makes no sound when you try to start it, replace the starter.

I have a 2000 chevy tahoe the tow/haul light does

pfugi... I'm in the process of trying to change out my turn signal switch and that process requires pulling the plastic trim from on top and bottom of the steering column. I have the same problem that you do with the tow haul and after a few months of it not working I pretty much dismissed it as not a big deal, but I found the problem yesterday and I'd be willing to bet you have the same problem. Where the set of wires comes from the button on the end of your gear arm and into the steering column needs to have some flex to it as you shift the car and the extremely fine wire that they used simply snapped in half. There is absolutely no extra wire there and I'm deciding whether or not to solder on an extension or not while I have it open. I tow a camper and in Colorado quite a bit and I have just relented to manually shifting when necessary.

Heater doesn't work unless accelerating.

Waterpump is not circulating the rad fluid to the heat exchanger in the HVAC. When you accel the pump turns faster.

I need to change my feul pump how do i get to it

your fuel pump is in the gas tank. you have to lift vehicle, remove hose from filler neck, support tank with jack and remove the two 15mm bolts from the support straps and lower tank to remove the fuel lines. then lower tank down and remove the big nut, there is a tool but a hammer and a flat head screw driver work fine. you can then pull the fuel pump and assembly out. it all comes as one unit. Becareful not to bend the fuel level float. hope this helps

2000 Tahoe ''check oil press'' light

Sounds like the oil pump went to me. Another issure I've dealt with is the drive ontop of the pump that makes it turn can shear off. Its not real common but I have seen it happen. Either way its a pretty major repair and the vehicle shouldnt be driven til its fixed.

Where is the horn fuse located in my 2000 tahoe

well its in one of 2 places

1.) the fuse box under the hood
2.) the fuse box under the dash board mounted to the side of the car.

the box lid should be labled making it easy to locate that fuse

if it isnt you will need to look at every one to see in the filament is burnt or broken. Sounds harder than it is.
