try this...shut the key off then turn it on crank it and let it stall ,wait 10 minutes (with the key on) when the security light goes out start it

If it isn't the 30 amp PARK LPS fuse in the engine compartment, it must be the relay or body control module, as that provides the ground power to the relay. That would not explain why the dash light are out though, as they don't use the relay.

The low pressure side port is located somewhere on the 'thicker' plumbing vs. the 'thinner' plumbing coming off of the compressor.

The pressure should be 25psi to 45 psi when the compressor is running.

You can't connect the low pressure hose with a can of r134a on the wrong side (high side vs. low side) because the ports are a different diameter (size).

It may be on the accumulator as well, the canister looking part of the a/c plumbing.

I hate to have so short of answere but, replace the light switch.

Check your thermostat, there not expensive an easy to change.

It has to be done with a code reader,the codes have to be erased,but it will come back on if the problem is still there,auto zone can do this for you for free.

retrace your steps, you might have left something unpugged.make sure you have a strong crank

Dead battery. Also have your alternator checked to see if it's charging properly. 8 years is a good time for a battery to last.

Is it blinking when the engine is shut off? If so it operates that way

this problem is caused by a defective ABS (anti0Lock Brakes) hydraulic control valve,this system is what is called "Active" ABS, this means the system has an electric pump that keeps the system pressurized all the time, and when needed the ABS computer opens up high pressure pop-it valves in the ABS hydraulic control block and send pressure to the appropriate wheel to control skidding and prevent uneven braking, the is the block with all the brake linen coming out of it under the hood, It is defective and leaking pressure to the brakes, to replace this and get the air bled out takes a special ABS bleeding tool at the dealer.

GM code P1404 is "EGR valve stuck open or circuit performance". Check the valve operation first.

the rubber pads on the door lock actuating lever are worn or the actuators are weak. They would need to be tested and looked at to determine this problem

POWER LOCKS NOT LOCKING PROBLEM IS THE LOCK RELAY.IF RELAY GOOD.THERE IS A OPEN IN LT BLU WIRE TO DOOR LOCK CIRCUIT OR TO BCM CIRCUIT.

If it tries to start but will not run, make sure it has fuel in the tank, check the fuel pump relay then the fuel pump and fuel filter. If it makes a repeated clicking sound when you try to start it, then the battery may be bad which should be checked along with the alternator. If you turn the car on and the radio works along with all the lights, etc. and it makes no sound when you try to start it, replace the starter.

i recommend buying MOOG brand sway bar links, they should be available at any parts store. sorry i do not have the part # on hand, but the parts store will have it on file. good luck!
