My 2000 v6 chevy camaro came up with a code p1514

DTC P1514 Definition: Airflow to TP Sensor Correlation High

When you step on the gas, and the TP opens up, it is set to match the speed of the engine, based on the ECU settings. P1514 means you intake is pulling in too much air for the amount it should be getting at that current engine speed. So basically your getting more air than fuel, because the ECU is adjusting you throttle wrong, you need to lower your air flow. This could be caused by a problem with the ECU, try having the ECU reset, and that may fix your problem. I would not suggest manually restricting the air flow by blocking or pinching the intake tubes or blocking the air filter, this will cause further problems, and would be a temporary and unnecessary fix. If this doesn't fix your problem, than the throttle plate could be out of adjustment by mechanical error, in this cases manually inspect the throttle body.

MY FUEL PUMP WENT OUT SO I REPLACED IT AND AFTER

I'm a mechanic and it sound like this fuel pump isn't right, not working, or may be drawing air. if it's in the tank it can't really draw air. so replace your pump with a good one with warranty.

What kind of steering fluid does my 2000 camaro ss

Dexron III.

You can Dexron, Dexron II, Dexron IIE, Dexron III, and Dexron V as suitable substitutes depending on availability. Lower numbers indicate a shorter lifespan of the fluid before you need to change it.

Turn signals on my 2000 camaro dont blink

This is most likely a problem with your flasher. The turn signals and four-ways operates using a flasher that connects and disconnects the circuit rapidly creating the on-off effect. When these go bad the the wire inside can get weak and no longer had enough heat to pull the bridge off. Also this will most likely be located within the interior fuse panel. Hope this works.

In my 2000 chevy camaro

Your vehicle is equipped with the PASS-Key II (Personalized Automotive Security System) theft-deterrent system.
PASS-Key II is a passive theft-deterrent system. It works when you insert or remove the key from the ignition.
PASS-Key II uses a resistor pellet in the ignition key that matches a decoder in your vehicle. When the PASS-Key II system senses that someone is using the wrong key, it shuts down the vehicle's starter and fuel systems. For about three minutes, the starter won't
work and fuel won't go to the engine. If someone tries to start your vehicle again or uses another key during this time, the vehicle will not start. This discourages someone from randomly trying different keys with different resistor pellets in an attempt to make a match.

The ignition key must be clean and dry before it's inserted in the ignition or the engine may not start. If the engine does not start and the SECURITY light stays on when you try to start the vehicle, the key may be dirty or wet. Turn the ignition off.

Clean and dry the key. Wait about three minutes and try again. The SECURITY light may remain on during this time. If the starter still won't work, and the key appears to be clean and dry, wait about three minutes and try another ignition key. At this time, you may also want to check the fuses (see "Fuses and Circuit Breakers" in the Index). If the starter won't work with the other key, your vehicle needs service. If your vehicle does start, the first ignition key may be faulty. See your dealer or a locksmith who can service the PASS-Key II.

If you accidentally use a key that has a damaged or missing resistor pellet, the starter won't work. The SECURITY light will flash. But you don't have to wait three minutes before trying another ignition key.

See your dealer or a locksmith who can service the PASS-Key II to have a new key made.

If you're ever driving and the SECURITY light comes on and stays on, you will be able to restart your engine if you turn it off. Your PASS-Key II system, however, is not working properly and must be serviced by your dealer. Your vehicle is not protected by the PASS-Key II system. If you lose or damage a PASS-Key II ignition key, see your dealer or a locksmith who can service PASS-Key II to have a new key made. In an emergency, call the Chevrolet Roadside Assistance Center at 1-800-CHEV-USA or 1-800-243-8872 (In Canada call 1-800-268-6800).

Problem with windows and radio

I had the same trouble. It began as an intermittent problem, then began to be more frequent and longer in duration. Due to suggestions elsewhere on this site, I took out the BCM from under the dash behind the glove compartment, and one of the relay's feet had faulty soldering connecting it to the BCM (Body Control Module) board inside. I heated up the solder and added some more solder to the connexion, and now the problem is gone. I think they must have had a bad batch of BCMs run through the factory back about ten or so years ago, because this problem appears to be common. Be very careful you don't accidentally add too much solder because it might short out some other circuit on the circuit board and fry some other equipment. Hope this helps.

It's probably the resistor on her ignition key needing to be cleaned or the switch itself is going bad.

Water on floor of 2000 camaro convertible. Where

If it's on the front passagers side, it might be the A/C drain is plugged, jack up the car and look for a black hose coming out of the bottom of the fire wall (right side behind the tire), get a good light, take a thin plastic or metal rod and clean it out,
Also the heater core is right there in the same area, much more expensive to repair, is the water clear or green/orange ?
