you havent said if the started sticks and wont enguage or it enguages and sticks enguaged once started. In either case it sounds like your starter is going to need to be replaced but check two things... make sure your battery voltage is good and check the teeth on the flywheel to nake sure they are in good condition. You nay also have to shim the starter in sme cases to achive the correct clearance. Good luck!

SCAN CAR IT COULD BE FAULTY EGR VALVE OR IDLE SPEED TOO LOW.IGNITION TIMING OFF.FUEL INJECTORS DIRTY NEED CLEANING.

It's most likely a timing problem, you may try too adjust it yourself; Loosen set screw on distributor and get a timing light. there also a chance it jumped a timing gear when you heard the loud bang..

Usually the regulator is built in to the alternator..........have the amps checked on the alternator the volts are not the only sign of charge

they sell a special tool,, take it in for system check for 19 bucks and tell them to tighten it.

u have left the fusible links off at the starter motor that power up the ignition switch and the accessories u mentioned don't work, go under the car locate the wires and connect them to the battery cable post of the stater motor solenoid.

ur drain hose for ur ac may be plugged,,still mite have to take under dash a part,,could be heater core ????

its either the battery , worn plugs, or a fuel delivery problem...purchase some starter fluid, take off intake cover have someone try to start the engine...dont over do it, if it does start it could be the injectors not firing, or fuel pump not supplying proper pressure. Check battery voltage, it MUST be 12.5v minimum..have someone or AAA give you a jump, if it starts then its your battery. If your battery is good 12.6> and the starter fluid didn't fix it, then it has to be a spark issue!!..take one spark plug out and inspect your gap, is it extremely wide?...because if it is, it"ll have trouble starting..re-gap or better yet, just replace the plugs.Check your spark plug wires at the coil packs take off wires and look for carbon tracking deposits clean it up with some carb spray, and wipe down and look inside the boots and terminal post for corrosion.

check to make sure no wires are melted apart. and also check fuses. espesially the main fuse. check the voltage from alternator to battery, it should be 14 to 14.3 when running. battery voltage should be about 13 volts when engine is off.

you can try a local locksmith, if not then replacement is the only option

Is there any codes in the computer that will help with the diagnoses?The mapp sensor or mass air flow,witch ever it has could be the problem.Check the fuel pressure also.

I would want to check the Batteries again, as you do not know how long they were for sale.
You should also have the Remotes checked for Frequency Output.
Some Auto Parts Stores & your dealer should be able to check for free.
These remotes also have problems with weak circuits, that need resoldering or replaced.
Also, be sure the Battery connections are "clean". You can use Q-Tip & Alcahol to clean.

there is a fuss that should have been pulled be 4 removing the battery if you have your owner Manuel it should show where it is located most times right side kick panel or rite of glove box you can try locking&unlocking your door with the key then put the key in ignition turn key on till lites on dash come on 3times do this leaving key on3ed time Waite 20mi.then turn off and try starting keep battery charged

4 this car you should have a repair manual they are about 20$ you can also get a copy of what you are looking 4 from the library or even check out the book there are safety issues to look out 4 from raising the car to supporting the Engine how ever you may be able to snug it up with out taking loos the Exhaust but 2 git the oil pan off 2 replace the gasket is some job sorry no quick answer

you may have a leak fuel injector is it smell gas when you first start?
