Build sheet from corvette museum of chiltons manual, the build sheets would be the best.

Disconect the battery and ECM for FOUR DAYS then reconect the ECM and BATTERY. Let it sit for another four days without turning anything on. It should start but will run rough for about 200 miles as the ECM relearns the system. I had the same issue and that is what fixed it.

check the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator. If there is fuel in it, replace the regulator.

Have you tied replacing the ignition module in the distributor?

COULD BE BAD IGNITION COIL OR IGNITION CONTROL MODULE.BUT IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE YET. DO A LITTLE TUNE UP.REPLACE DISTRIBUTOR CAP + ROTOR + SPARK PLUGS + PLUG WIRES.CHECK THE IGNITION FUSE.MAKE SURE FUSE IN TIGHT AND DONT LOOK BURNED COLOR.

the answer is yes, most parts stores carry good hi intensity lights. Spend the money and get the good ones, they have all of the nessary ballasts etc not just blue light.

I bet its the Heat / AC control unit....the slider that goes from hot to cold is probably broken, I replaced mine 2 times already in my 94 and need another

The slider has a wire that pulls a lever to open from hot to cold, its plastic and breaks inside, its on the top right back corner of it....to get to it you must remove the arm rest top pad only , then the covering for the shift, there are 2 screws in the arm rest to remove shift cover, then you have to remove the facecover for the heat control unit ...

When you remove the shift covering there is a little plastic cover inside with a noch that marks where the shift goes to Park, Drive, Neutral you will see or hear it move just replace it so you know what gear your in when its put back together

ASR (automatic speed regulator) is part of the ABS (anti-lock brake system) system so there are many reasons for it to be on, what u need to do here is not guess, have the GM dealer run a fault code test (this is done with special GM scanner) on the system to help isolate what is causing the warning to stay on, it can be the any of the 4 wheel speed sensors is defective or a damaged signal ring teeth or a defective ASR motor, so please have the test run, the parts are just to expensive to guess, I have a 1996 myself and I am very familiar with the system and how it works, the manual says testing the system for fault codes is essential to a successful repair

button on door is sticking, with door open try pushing in the button and releasing it quickly let it like snap back out..

Its located on the front left upper side of engine, just look at any autozone web page and look at the picture of the part... its not hard to replace just make sure you use the white heat grease tht comes with it... cost of part $80.

Your local Locksmith can get the code and make another key, cost me 25 dollars for the key. Its probably a code 9

Yes it is after every 4 years and also check the outstanding temp of the fluid depending on where you live but the coolent has a lub additive which protects your engine.........Hope this helps

ASR stands for Anti Slip Regulation in your Corvette. It's a version of what you'd now call Traction Control because because traction control involves your ECM, transmission and braking systems.

To clear ABS/ASR codes do the following: Same as above but you're looking for "9.7" on the trip odo.

Press the trip reset button on the DIC until the desired system is displayed. In this case it will be 4.0. 2. Press trip/odo button on the DIC until the desired diagnostic mode(4.7) is displayed on the trip monitor area of the cluster. 3. Press & hold the eng/met button on the DIC until "---" isdisplayed in the speedometer area of the cluster, this will clear PCM codes.

Ok, firstly we have to find out which system is causing this, weather it is the ignition system or the fuel system, and last but hopefully it is not mechanical.

So, when you crank the engine over does the engine spin over really quickly or does it just spin over normally?
I just want to make sure that there is no mechanical problems first.

Next you need to check the there is fuel getting to the injector rail or fuel filter.
Then check that you are getting spark to one of the spark plug leads.

After this is done we can go deeper into it.

On the a/c send the radiator to flush,as for the heater you need to check the vacuum hoses that goes into the contrl panel,check for a leak on vacuum in the engine as well.

Take it to a dealer it is to great of a car to have anyone but a pro work on it.
