No,no matter what engine you have in a 91 it would have came with throttle body fuel injection.What troubles are you having with it,maybe i can help?

It looks like you answered my clarification request by posting a new question. Don't do that... keep it here. I inadvertently answered that question, thinking that someone had started a new thread with no information but "My vehicle has a caburetor."

This really sounds like a fuel delivery problem. It sounds like, while the pump is turning slowly during cranking fuel slowly seeps into the float chamber. Then the motor catches, and the fuel flow cannot meet the demand; the float chamber empties, and the truck dies.

I would take the fuel line off the carb, disable the ignition, point the line into a bucket (*like a coffee can), and crank the engine. You should get pretty good flow into the can. If the pump is electric a good steady flow, if operated by an eccentric on the camshaft timing gear (that is, the pump is bolted onto the side of the timing chain cover) fuel in healthy spurts.

My first suspicion is a really clogged fuel filter, and my second suspicion is a bad fuel pump. a hole in the fuel line, cracked hose, etc, can allow sucking air, which can seriously impair fuel flow.

The switch sits on the top side of the steering column. It's mounted with 2 screws and there is a couple of electrical plugs to unplug. You'll probably need to lower the steering column to get at it. Make sure to disconnect the transmission indicator cable. Also, make sure the ignition rod is installed properly into the new one and the switch is adjusted.

4.5 quarts if you serviced it. 9.5 quarts if you replaced it and it is dry.

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

check ur fuses thats all that is wrong

If your torque convertor is stuck, you will not be able to start the
vehicle. You will no doubt have to drop the trans.I've never heard of
a stuck convertor, just a wiped out one, that doesn't engage the
trans.Good luck.

Different filament.
You have two filaments in those bulbs. A dim one for lights, and a second one that's brighter for directional and brake. You need to see if you have a good ground and both positive's at the socket.( with the parking and directional on)

clicking is from a shorted out starter solenoid which is located on the starter

mite want to spray the base of the throttle body & intake to see if base gasket is shot,,injector cleaner spray,,

Don't take this as an insult. I've seen it happen. Is the thermostat in the correct way? Faulty thermostat?

Check fliud level first, being low can cause, also might want to remove transmission pan and inspect for a clogged filter, if ok rhen seals in transmission bad would have to rebuild or replace transmission.

replace the fuse. he shorted out the lighter and it blew a fuse, it is either one maked int or lighter i think. oh, remove the bottle cap first.

you need to set the meter by what specs are needed for the carburetor you now have on this truck. it is not noted here in your question

Can you hear the fuel pump? Turn the key to on the pump should come on for 10 sec If not unplug the fuel pump relay and jumper orange to grey the pump should run.Check the oil pressure switch as well. If not replace the pump and wire. If it does run try a different relay. If that still doesn't work you'll have to get a schematic and see if there is power to the ECM. It will be either the ECM or Ignition switch or wiring between them.
