Have a 2004 rendezvous and I get fuel but little spark to the plugs

If you have any spark at the plugs it will not be the anti-theft system. I would be looking at a failed coil/s and or distributor ignition module.. Run fault codes to check for other faults that limit the spark voltage.

Why when I come to a stop I let off the brake and car will not move?

Sounds like your brake calipers have locked up. Also, make sure the emergency brake is not engaged. Please don't continue to drive this car until you can get it fixed. I would take the car to someone you trust to inspect your brake system. I would plan on replacing the calipers, rotors and pads.

Why does my car not move from a stop until I rev it up and then it kicks in like being rear ended?

Failed Transmission That happens frequently, when you do not change trans fluid every 3 years, power steering will fail next,(No Fluid Flushing) I would have it checked for electronic issues before anything else Since you continue to use it & it neutrals out & bangs into gear, you ruined any chance to escape a complete rebuild, from my experience as a former trans shop owner

Does the purge valve keep the engine from starting?

You got the code You can google the code to learn about it Type: OBD PO443 The internet will explain the valves function & location, etc The fact you have a code don't mean the part is bad It may well be,but the evap system has to be tested & the valve component tested & fail to need replacement Nothing to do with starting It opens to pull fuel tank fumes into the engine & burn them based on computer strategy If it is stuck open then you get unmetered air into the motor & it can effect your fuel trim & cylinder firing

Noisy steering when turning

check power steering fluid level or for air bubbles in fluid, if low or bubbles found find and correct fluid leak. if fluid is ok most likely the pump is failing. Other possible causes are steering gear or linkage binding but are not very common problems.

To install:
  1. Insert the ignition lock cylinder through the trim cover in the upper steering column.
  2. Align the lock cylinder retaining tab and the position tab with the slots in the lock housing.
  3. Completely push the lock cylinder into the lock housing.
NOTE Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  4. Install the retaining screws to the upper steering trim cover and tighten the screws to 31 inch lbs. (3.5 Nm).
  5. Match the tab slots on the lower trim cover with the locking tabs on the upper trim cover.
  6. Tilt the lower trim cover up and slide the lower trim cover until the locking tabs snap into the tab slots.

  12. Disconnect the side impact module-right front connector.
NOTE With the fuse removed, the AIR BAG or SIR light will illuminate if the ignition switch is turned ON at any time. This is normal and does not indicate a problem when the system is disarmed.

Arming The SIR System
