1997 aurora headlights stay on

The door chime is a victim; it is just telling you the lights are still on.
The relay responsible for the headlights probably has welded contacts and will need replacement. If you know where the fuse box is located, you can temporarily disable the headlights by pulling the fuse and the relay (which should be identified) is probably also in the box.

Water pump

Look on the drivers side of the engine. You will see a small belt running off a pulley of the back of the front head. That is the water pump belt. The water pump is being the housing with the hose attached to it. You will need a special tool to remove the pump from the housing. Po138 sensor 1997 olds aurora where is it

I would be inclined to say it is electrical in nature. Did you set the spark plug gap at .050? It is possible you could have a bad plug wire. Where did you get the DTCs from? GM service shop? #7 cylinder is on the rear head. Check wiring again just to eliminate that possibility. As a last ditch effort, get the GM shop to DIAGNOSE your problems, and then fix it yourself. Again, I think the source is electrical, but it is possible, although unlikely you could have a fuel problem, but no fuel DTCs are showing. I assume the MIL on the dash is lit.PARTS OF BMW.

Where is the relay for the speedometer and tachometer on my 1996 oldsmobile aurora

Its known as the magic relay and as such its like the fairys at the bottom of the garden ,its moves around and hides itself like a lepricaun on a summers evening ,Now as a euroepon mechanic i can honestly say i have never seen this model car but assuming from its age it could have a speedo cable and not electronic but if it is then their is no relay and if both are not working then its a fault with the speedo head itself as they are all electronic and the prnted circuit on the back has failed for whatever reason from a bad earth to a microprocessor failure ,but check the fuses first in case you have a corroded pin connection on one of the fuses they oxidise with age and just pulling them out and pushing them back in will cure this

Is there a kill switch? If so where is it located at?

There is a fuel pump shut off switch. On that specific car I'm not too sure where it is, but you might take a look on the passenger side behind a plastic door on the kick panel (where the passenger would put his/her feet.). It could also be behind a door in the trunk. The operators manual should have the exact location.

97 aurora shifts fine in 1st thru 3rd and under 45 mph, then over that speed will go into OD but slips over 45 mph, any ideas??

If the AFT fluid level is ok then the only thing that would cause this is that the transmission has failed, the clutches are burnt up or worn out, the transmission will need to be replaced or rebuilt.
