Crankshaft sensor
did you lock the engine before doing it?... check it the timing is correct.
Put water pump on now getting no fire
think you have not put the timing back right and it will need to be re done. hope you used a new belt and adjuster when you put it back together. you need to re line the timing marks on cams and on crank. then put the belt on adjust up making sure the number 1 piston is at the top as well as the timing marks on the cam check this with the crank making, put belt on and adjust up then turn engine one full turn. no spark plugs fitted. back to the timing marks making sure they line up if not re adjust the time until it line back up every time you turn the engine one full turn. then put the spark plugs in etc and start enging.

Remove and replace turnsignal switch
not sure if that has an airbag on horn on 92, but if it does it will say nsrs or airbag, remove screws from back side, if no airbag, IF AIR BAG DISCONNECT BATTERY AND WAIT #) MIN> TO BE SAFE ! then remove horn bag etc: remove snap ring ,remove steering wheel nut, remove steering wheel, next remove snapring and lock plate and wave washer and horn cam keeping them in order of dissasembly, next remove three screws from turn signal switch and remove, if it has cruise control you will have to remove the lower panel under dash and unplug the small wire plug as well as larger plug to steering column and snake wires out of column and snake new ones back in to original position and hook up and put 3 screws back in and assemble column.
Where is the ignition module on a 1992 olds 88 with a 3.8 motor
The ignition module is the part under the coil that the connector is plugged into. Remove the coil pack or coils depending on whether it's a magnovox ignition system. You will then be able to remove the module from the bracket. If I remember right there are three nuts that hold the module to the bracket on the underside of the bracket. A 10mm socket should work for these.

My son has a 1992
Sounds like a bad starter. When a bad starter is cold, it will still start the car. Once warm,
the starter requires more power to engage. Eventually, the starter will fail under all conditions but from what you describe, it certainly is showing all the signs of a bad starter.
