Idle down at stop sign turns off
When your car slows down or stops, it is not getting as much power or gas as before. So, your problem would be in that area. Two simple fixes, check the air filter and the fuel filter. They may be clogged. You may also have a vacuum leak in your hoses. Check them very carefully. It could be a faulty fuel injector. You need to check the fuel pressure. If it is off, check the fuel components. If it is ok, you need to start checking your spark plugs/coils, wires, distributor cap. If it has been awhile since you have had a tune-up, I would get one. If it's been 70,000 miles since you changed the plugs, change them. Anyone of these can cause your problem. If your check engine light is on, get it scanned at Autozone. It is free. Can you tell me where
You don't need a fuse. What you need is a turn signal flasher relay. It is located under the left side of the dash, just to the right of the steering column. It looks like the picture below.
Ignition coil is bad I think. How do I change them
There are 2 screws per coil.Just remove the plug wire and if they are not marked make sure and mark them so you install them back in the correct order or you will have backfiring problems.If they are the factory wires they should all be numbered already.There are 3 coils.Take them off one at a time.What problems are you having that you suspect a coil?If replacing the coils does not help then let me know and I`ll be glad to help out.Hope this helps.Good luck.
Why does the parking break light stay on in my 97
Apply the parking brake with the vehicle parked, engine turned off and transmission in Park. Release the parking brake completely, then apply it again, and ensure that it is fully released. Turn the ignition on, check to see if the Parking brake warning light is on. If it is NOT on, apply the parking brake and check to see if the warning light comes on. If the light come ON wihen the Parking brake is applied,.....fully release the parking brake and check if the warning light goes OFF. If it does NOT go off, then an adjustment is needed at the parking brake switch.

Find the oil pressure switch on the side of the engine block. unplug the connector. Using a piece of wire or a paper clip, jump the connector, thereby bypassing the pressure switch. Start the car and see if it still dies. If it stays running and restarts ok, then you've got a bad oil pressure switch or low oil pressure which will stoop the injectors from firing. If none of this did any good, put the pressure switch connector back the way it was. My next line of thought would be the MAP sensor. If someone hasn't already done so, retrieve the trouble codes from the computer. That would be a big help in diagnosing the problem. If you need help getting the codes, I can try to explain it. One last thought. There should be a fuel pump relay. That relay could be shutting down, then resetting itself when the ignition is turned off. Replace the relay before you try the jumper wire.

The call will not conistently
The system is not entirely pugred yet. check your coolant level in the radiator if you can, fill as necessary, same for the resevoir. If you have any purge vales in the system. start the car and open them until coolant comes out, do this a couple of times to check for trapped air. be careful of hot coolant.
Just purchased 1992 olds cutlass supreme 3.1 L
Normally the tune ups for cars are scheduled at 30K, 60K and 90K. If you do not have the maintenance records of this car then, you have to change the fluids, and inspect many things.
You have to flush radiator, flush braking system, change engine oil, and the transmission oil.
Inspect and replace if necessary, the spark plugs, spark plug wires, serpentine belt and belt tensioner.
The ball joints and tie rod ends has to be inspected too.
The most important thing is to make sure that the timing chain has been replaced. It listed for $142 at NAPA parts.
The car starts but wont
remove the drive shaft and see if the car moves then. if it does then your training needs to be looket and could be as simple as the shifting linkage to the training if it does'nt then you have a problem bexause it means your rearend has locked up.
Where is the blower motor
Blower fan motor is located under the passenger side dash.
Remove the panel and then unbolt everything in your way until you come to a sort of triangular shaped blower motor.
