An '87 Olds Toronado has three computers: the ECM (engine control module), the BCM (body control module), and the IPC ( instrument panel cluster). The A/C compressor is controlled by the body control module.

If you mean the turn signal switch, it's inside the steering column head under the steering wheel.

Under the dash, to the left of the steering column. It may have a plastic cover.

Have you checked your motor mounts? Stomping on the gas in gear torques the engine. If the mounts are bad the engine will move (it's not supposed to) and this may strain the wiring harness which can then come into contact with the frame or something that could short a wire to ground. It is very unlikely that the problem is in the ignition module itself or any of the coils, as you probably discovered when you replaced them and the problem didn't go away. Open the hood and have someone rev the engine GENTLY while you watch. The engine shouldn't move very much at all. Check your wiring harness at any possible point of contact if the engine does move and look for cuts, gouges, exposed wiring, etc.

Only reprogram if you know it needs programming otherwise you are wasting your money. Take the key to a main dealer and ask them if the programming is still working as you are having trouble starting your car. They should be able to tell you if it needs programming or not.

Stop overfilling your fuel tank. It's possible the check valve in the tank is bad. Could also be one of the vacuum valves on top of the canister. Once the canister is saturated with fuel, it's junk.

The fuel pump relay on the 1991 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo is behind the glovebox, toward the top and to the right. There is a small relay panel that is not very easy to get to.

u should do a blok test its a test to chek for combustion chamber gases in cooling system. u can get kit to test most auto part stores. mayb have a compromised head gasket leaking compression into cooling system

The canister is clogged. This is not very common. I would get a used one and it will be done.
The canister pulls fumes from the tank and turns them back into raw fuel. If the canister gets clogged than the vacuum hose pulls raw gas and fills up the canister.

THe lights operate on a vacuum and it is not uncommon for a vacuum leak to cause this problem. You will need to find the lines and check them for any holes or disconnects.

Removed the cross bar above blower (4 nuts 1/2"). And also removed the black bar connected to the motor (2 nuts 1/2").
