Yes. You broke a circular tightening panel within the gear box, the part itself is cheap but getting to it is a lot of work so its quite costly. Nothing you can fix urself unfortunately.

Not an easy fix - sounds like either a heater/AC plenum control diaphragm started leaking, or a vacuum hose to one of them has popped off at the actuator or at the heater control, or the vacuum line developed a leak somewhere between an actuator and the heater control or the engine. You can try to pin down by checking airflow out of the defroster, ac and heater vents - if airflow is normal in each position, the problem is probably the heat/cool control actuator, the line from it to the heater control, or the heater control itself.

If the fan wont turn on, you probably have a blown blower motor resistor. If it blows but wont blow warm, check your coolant level. If low, look around the engine compartment for a chalk-like residue (residual coolant splatter) and try to find the source and fix that

That sounds like your security system failed .. are there any lights on the dash or any power at all to the car?? that has happen to me.. this is how I fixed mine and I haven't had any issues with it.. hope it helps

if the proportioning clogs or damaged it can cause brake problems such as yours take pressure readings on all 4 calipers the proportioning valve is just as it says differentiates the pressure front to back also the abs unit itself can cause the same problem also

Needs driverside door regulator if you can see the glass grab the glass one hand on each side pull up if it does not go up all the way press up button on switch to help it up tape glass to keep in place till you replace it part is cheep. if glass fell in you have to pull door panel push glass up and tape hope that helps

Hi,Yes, the Ignition switch is tied into the 'shift interlock system', and if the system is never really 'off' the codes may be related.I'd REMOVE the remote start to ensure you're working from a 'clean slate' and get the ignition switch fixed....likely a dealer item, but call around auto parts stores. You may need to get it 'rekeyed' to match.Also, a Jimmy and Envoy are identical - the Envoy is the higher trim line of the Jimmy: LINKGL,Td

Sometimes the cable housing slips in the clamp. With the ****** in Park, loosen the clamp and slide the housing towards the end of the cable, then retighten the clamp. Very similar to adjusting the throttle cable on a lawn mower.

It is furthest back, closest to the left(driver side) of the valve body. It will have a red and light green wire going to it.

There has been a problem with the Dex cool orange antifreeze deteriorating the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets, causing coolant to leak in to engine.If there is antifreeze in your oil, it will ruin your engine. If you find antifreeze in the oil it will cause the oil to become thick and frothy and will not lubricate the bearings and other moving parts, causing an engine failure. If there is evidence of coolant in the oil, do not drive the vehicle. Have it towed to a repair shop and have the gaskets replaced, oil and filter changed, cooling system flushed and refilled with GREEN antifreeze that is compatible with aluminum radiators and engine parts.

Before attempting to remove the supports get a wooden 2x3 and prop the hatch securely open, next look at the rods carefully, you will see they have a clipping device that secures them to a small ball type joint both top and bottom, be careful as some have the rear window electric grid plugged into them, disconnect with care as not to damage the connectors or the wire.
