The retainers for it are usually behind the inner door panel. Youtube will have videos of removing the inner panel. Not hard at all, but time consuming finding all the screws. Plastic push pins around the bottom and up the sides-can use a putty knife or thin blade screwdriver to pop them out. Lift the panel off, pull back the plastic water shield (reseal it after done), and the mirror fasteners will be visible.

Drive to the closest reputable Auto Body shop.

What is the problem?

Are you throwing any codes? Without any more info, there is no way to tell. Try unhooking your battery and then reconnecting it, check the connector on your crank sensor as that could be loose or broken because it is in a high-temp area that does not get moved ever, and then then go to your local Advance Auto and ask them if you can use their code reader. You give them your license and you can borrow it for a moment. Once you have the code, then people can figure it out. Good luck!
