2002 neon is cable shift and usually the cable fits in brackets. there is alignment pin in shifter base. put a pin in to hold it in neutral position until you have the cables in place and all brackets tightened then remove the alignment pin and put console back together.

look for bad or not properly seated fuse in both fuse panels. one under dash and one under hood driver side

replace both battery cables with heavy duty cables and ends. Factory cables will not handle the amp load after a few years.

hays repair manual usually available at any part store should have the manual for that with diagrams for complete electrical systems

electric truck opener? inside cable release beside the door ? if electric check to make sure something isn't hitting the switch when you shut your door. if cable beside the door make sure its clear of dirt under it preventing it from going all the way back down to lock position. also check the latch position to make sure it is fully letting it latch around the lock bar. simple adjustment of the latch would fix that.

simple fix the headlight is halogen. simply open hood , find the back of the right headlight. there is a ring with a clip holding it from turning. hold the clip and turn the ring. pull the head light bulb out and unplug it. replace in reverse order, note here. DO NOT touch the glass part of the new bulb with your fingers. use clean gloves or tissue paper to handle it. or the new bulb will fail in a short time. When replacing the retaining ring to hold the bulb in make sure you align the notches so it will press in then turn till it locks.

fuse for this issue should be under hood in the panel on driver side fender

you answered your own question a simple fix would be to add a good ground wire to the column. check the wiring that runs up the column to the wheel and make sure all wires are connected and in good condition.

speedometer runs off a sensor in the transmission. I would check first the wires to the sensor to see if there is a break in it. if wiring is good the replace the pickup unit for the speedometer.

I am far from a trans. specialist but this sounds like a foreign body (dirt maybe) got in the valve body.

the visor clip is made in 2 parts. the outer cover needs to slide straight down which releases tension of the inner clip which is wedged in by the outer cover.

yes there should be a cartridge and you fill it up and insert the whole cartrige

Without key in ignition, depress and hold down the trip reset button by the speedometer until a code appears. Release button and the gauge cluster will go through a self diagnosis ( needles will move around and dash lights will blink). When needle returns to zero and lights go off, diagnosis will be completed and speedometer will be reset. Very easy fix.

First I need to know that we do not live near one another. Where do you live? So i can move if we are close! You need a new power steering pump. It can be quite dangerous especially if it locks up while in a curve. Get it fixed. ASAP.

On Right side of dash it is low fuel warning light

Its possible the pressure light is faulty, or you really do have low oil pressure. The pressure is higher when the oil is cold than when the engine is warmed up. You could replace the switch and see what happens, or get the pressure checked with a mechanical gauge in place of the switch.

Remote sensor is located in center of top dash,are you sure the wires got hooked back up.
