I assume there are no oil leaks on the motor that could be contributing to loss of oil pressure.
I would have the engine oil pressure checked by a mechanic with an independent oil pressure gauge to see what might be going on. I would want to do this on a cold engine and also after the motor has been operating for a while and the oil is quite hot. ( I would also immediately be replacing the oil filter in case there is some blockage problem there. I very much doubt it but I would be doing that anyway just to be sure as it is simple and cheap to do. You say the oil level in the motor is correct and that it has been recently changed).
If there was a problem with the oil pressure sender unit I suspect you would have more frequent symptoms than you have indicated.
If the oil pump was faulty I believe you should also be getting more frequent symptoms.
It could be that the oil pressure relief valve is intermittently temporarily sticking in the open position and the pressure then being generated by the oil pump is insufficient to reach the minimum level. The warning light then illuminates.

Hello oldfarmer877: My name is Roger and I will be glad to help you. Your truck does not have a fuel filter like the older cars and trucks have. The fuel filter for your truck is part of the fuel module inside the fuel tank. To replace the filter would involve removal of the fuel tank. The actual filter is located inside of the fuel pressure regulator. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
there are 2 ports one for low pressure and one for high pressure. the low pressure is bigger in diameter and is usually close to the dryer and or fender and firewall. the high pressure is near the condensor on the fron of the vehicle. if there are caps for the ports low will be blue and high will be red. low side pressure should be 35-50 psi and high pressure should be 135-150 psi
you don`t say how you know it has fuel. did you check the fuel pressure with a gage and did you check the fuel volume as well. this sounds like a fuel pump problem.
-Possibly bad ground.
-Open a bulb and then turn the switch on and then check voltage
from the socket. (Use volt meter. 1 probe touch each end. If no voltage then next 1 probe on the car frame (Metal) and 1 probe
on the socket terminal Try both. If there is voltage than>> Bad Ground.
Good Luck

Hi Robert:
We've been going bananas with the same problem on both aN Aztek and the Buick Terraza. GM shops are telling us to look at $350 to ??????????? as desperately complicated.
HERE'S SOMETHING THAT CAN BE THE CAUSE:
CHANGE THE BATTERY IN YOUR REMOTE.
IT CURED THE BUICK YESTERDAY.
Haven't tried the Aztek yet.
Would suggest you visit Autozone and have then connect a fault code reader to your truck... it's free. A Haynes manual they sell will have the fault code numbers in it in the Emission Control section to help you determine what's wrong. Sounds like you have more than one fault code to me and one of them is a transmission code. Get back with the forum after you have the codes so we may assist you further.
Depends on where it leaked at . If you have a slider than can be the seal on it , or if whole back window then you could have a bad seal or a rusty area beside the rubber seal that would need fixed . If neither then a seal is most likely your problem . Some people puts alot of vasaline on them to make them swell to see if it still leaks and others just do a small cut on clear caulking then lift the rubber up and trace around the window and clean up any that sqeezed out but my preferance is to remove the back window and look for rust and fix it right the first time .
