I need to replace the timing belt on my 98 dodge

depending if its a 2.0 or a 2.5 really either or, i personally recommend taking it to a shop, you have to pull the motor to get to the timing belt on a 2.0 and just the same on a 2.5, that or tilt it on such an agle to access the timing belt and to be able to remove the proper bolts to access the belt, then after you get to the belt you have to have a special tool for the belt tentioner and align the top dead center with the new belt, in doing this you may have to have a camsaft turn in a way that when the tentioner is let off they all align with the new belt... it is a very agrivating process...

Turn signals don't work.

It could be several things including the fuse.Do you have a testlight/probe to do a couple of tests? It could be the flasher can.Do the indicators work if you put on the hazard lights? You could try swapping one fuse at a time .Just switch with another fuse of the same color and if they start to work its the fuse and if not its the main supply of power or the flasher can.If the hazards work the circuit from the flasher to the indicators is intact and shouldnt be part of the problem.

I have a 1999 dodge avenger it want start

When you had the starter checked did you check the solenoid on the starter? If you can find a way to get to it, try using something hard to tap your solenoid and then try starting it. If that doesn't work try tapping the solenoid and starter while someone else turns the key. The starter may be good but the solenoid could be stuck inside. Hope this helps let me know how it goes. Good luck!

Fuel Injectors.

You can try running injector cleaner through your system for about a week and see if that help's. The other thing is finding a low mile engine at the junk yard and buy the injectors only. Good luck Just for thought's did you check your fuel pressure, that sometime makes it seam like bad injectors.

Hi.I have a 1998 Dodge Avenger sport with almost

I really hate to say this because i don't recommend used parts to be put into a vehicle especially when it comes to electrical or computer components, but you may be able to check your local parts yards and see if they may have what you need if you are on a tight budget. Or you may have to buy a new computer. I would have also take it somewhere else for a second opinion before spending the money on a new computer. ope this helps.
