IF SLAPPING THE DASH WORKS, THE PROBLEM IS MOST LIKLEY A BURNED WIRE CONNECTION IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRING, YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE CLUSTER AND DISSAMBLE TO REPAIR BROKEN WIRES IN THE PANEL HARNESS CONNECTOR.
Rear wheels lock down
You will need a brake inspection, the rear wheel cylinder could cause this or a whole new rear brake set
Changing out transmission mount on a 96 dodge
this is a fairly easy fix, youll need to undo the mount bolts and with a jack from the bottom or a cherry picker from the top lift up the ****** enough to wiggle the mounts out (or drop the ****** if they are top mount) you may also need need to loosen the motors mounts to allow everything to move as well as remove the half shafts from the transmission to allow movement. depends on how far you need to move it in order to wiggle the mounts out. i always reccomend buying a haynes or chilton repair manual. as it covers step by step how to perform alot of these repairs in simple step by step format (if you can bake a cake by direction then you can work on a car) and they are ussually around 10 to 15 bucks. not a bad investment. hope this helps! good luck
Oil in spark plug holes
if its in the bore then its your valve seals, that's a head off job,or if its on the outside then it maybe the rocker cover gasket 15-20min job, worst case cracked head, but its hard to a say without seeing it first hand, hope this helps,ps.it might be a good idea to run a compression test ok.
Drain plug on a 96 dodge intrepid car radiator
You must get under the car to see it, it is on the back side (faces engine) of the side tank of the radiator, it is usually on the drivers side but not always. It is a plastic valve and the head of the drain valve looks like a old clock winding key.
96 dodge intrepid brake lamps do not turn off.
Hi,Hmmm... sounds like a power( live line ) melted the insulation and fused together w/ the brake line, thus it powers up your brake light.Check your rear brake wire harness leading to the front connection main harness., if the harness are covered w/ plastic insulation, cut the insulation and look for a wire that melted and fused together. If you found the wire, seperate it and put some insulator tape to prevent power line shorting. The power line usually colored RED.Hope that helps!
