1994 dodge caravan se 15 amp ignitation off fusedraw still draws 00.04 amps

Milli-amps is the measure for draw of the computer memory, clock, and radio pre-sets. So, .04 amps is just a little more. Would that be like what a glove box light might draw? Try either pulling a few fuses and see if you still have a draw, or take the battery negative post off overnight, and see if battery is still good and hot the next day.Good luck.

No heat

One or more of:

1. Your coolant level is low
2. Your thermostat doesn't close and needs to be replaced
3. The valve from the cooling system to the heater core is stuck
4. Your heater core is clogged

1994 dodge caravan 3.3 L . I replaced thermostat 195. filled rad , ran motor for 1 hour with cap off , no bubbles, put cap on , ran 10 min, temp in car low worm not hot worm.

so we can assume you removed all bubbles by bleeding and no vapor lock in engine.(i assume that you did this when in front of car is raised to collect bubble at highest point)if done correctly there should not be any bubbles in system. so we can say that your cabin heater core is clogged partially. remove is and clean it. if it cant be done you need a new heater core. to reach it you need to remove some dash panels. dont brake clips when removing dash.

Just put in new fuel pump but my 94 caravan wont start, i checked the fuse its fine. the van makes a noise like it wants to start but it wont.

Hi Amy:First, I suggest spray some starter fluid in the throttle and see if it starts and try to start. Also, confirm if... do you hear the pump boot up for about two or three seconds when you turn the ignition ON? If not, then you know it's a source problem or the pump itself. After you mentioned replacing the pump, then it's safe to say it's a power supply problem to the pump, or at least that's where I would check first.Check the plug-in under the van near the tank for corrosion and good connection, then check the ground wire right next to it on the frame rail, make sure it isn't corroded and has a good connection. Then work back to the fuel pump relay from their. The relay is either on the firewall by itself or in the fuse box under the hood.If you do hear the pump boot up, then at this point, I would check for spark. Check the coil wire to the cap, then check a spark plug wire from the cap to see if you have spark at those two points.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

you may have a air lock in your cabin heater, or cabin heater is clogged. first try to bleed air in system by raising the front of car. le *** idle and try to bleed system with bleeding screw on radiator or where ever it is. if this wont help you need a new cabin heater. it is really common problem on older cars.

MY ****** CHANGE A 30MPH AT FIRST GEAR

Hi Edward:Unfortunatly it sounds like the pressure is too low. Did the fluid smell burnt or have any metal shavings in it? If so, it may further help entail an internal transmission failure. This may also be due to a defective front fluid pump or seal from the recent overhaul before the engine failure.About the only way you are going to be able to find this problem is to have the line pressure in the transmission tested. You have either a problem with the torque converter not multiplying the fluid pressure or a pump that is not working correctly, either because of wear or a leaking internal seal. The first step is to get a fluid pressure reading to confirm this. You need to use an Automatic transmission pressure guage assembly to test the pressure at engine idle in "D," should be around 42 psi. The pressure test port is available on the case itself, remove the plug and instal the guage unit. There is also a possiblility the main pressure valve in the valve body is sticking, not allowing correct pressure to build. And a small possibility the governor drive is failing, however is this were the case, you would have good reverse operation and no upshift from 1st to 2nd.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.
