Hi have you checked al the intake hoses and hoses to and from the turbocharger? And it's also possible that the timing may be off has the timing belt been changed?

Always check for spark and fuel wgrn trying to diagnose a no-start. Check for fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. Look up the recommended fuel pressure for your vehicle. If It's in range then fuel filter probably good. Check for spark by unhooking a wire at spark plug and connecting it to a spark tester and have someone try to start while you watch for spark.

Fuel filter needs to be changed.

I'm not positive, but I think your electronic ignition has something called a pick up coil that goes bad. Sometimes the engine may just die while driving, or just not want to run when it starts. You also may have a distributor cap that Mitsubishi made that has circuitry inside the cap, so replace the cap too.

This Could be a lot more major then what you may think. The valves in the motor could be bent and causing the the breath valves to not be closing properly, Bent valves could be caused by over heating or the timing belt not being replaced every 100000ks or 62000miles. The timing could also be out. I would sugest you dont run the car any more and have it taken to a mechanic to have the timing checked
