How to set the timing on a 1993 dodge dakota 2.5 motor
Hi Linda, curious if you installed a new timing chain and are trying to reset your distributor. If so I would like to ask you if you have set to piston number one to Top Dead Center. Now if all of this is done and you have set the distributor to it original place then the timing should be set at 12 degrees when the engine is running. Good luck.
Why there is no pulse signal in only one inyector
It could be a fault in the wiring on that injector, change 2 injectors and if it still does it then you ahave a fault there, if it pulses after you changed then it's the injector, if not it could be your crank angle sensor starting to play up, hope this helps

Blower motor doesnt work
Use tester on power and ground leading to blower first. See if your getting power. Check fuse if bad and u replace and shorts out when you power up replace motor. Check controls also
The light come on for the 4wd on my 93 dodge
Check the two vacuum hoses on the right
front side, of the front axle housing
You can use a hand held vacuum gauge, to check
the vacuum modulator & see if it will lock the front axle
Have to have the front end up in air & supported &
turn wheel/tire by hand, as you apply vacuum
Keep in mind with 4 wheel drive, only the right rear &
left front are driven wheels, not all 4
If the front axle locks in, with you pulling a vacuum & you have no
vacuum at the front hoses, then go to the transfer shifter & next to
it,is the vacuum switch
How to remove driver's door on a 1993 dodge dakota
It will be a 2 person job. Open the door and remove the bolts for the hinges on the body panel . The door will be heavy some form of support under the door edge (Chassis stand ) will assist the partner to hold the load.. If there are wires in the door then disconnect at the connection immediately inside the body behind the kick panel cover before undoing the bolts..
