2005 Chevy Tahoe rear hatch won't unlock when all
remove the inner upholestry of the rear hatch..
you will notice a device connected to the lock mechanism ,, its called an actuator... chances are this needs to be replaced,, keep locking and unlocking the door and you will see the actuator straining to open the door,, this means it has gotten week and needs to be replaced..

Scanned = p-0449, cleared 2x, replaced sol valve,
The usual problem is the vent valve.This is what usually goes bad on these with this code.The vent valve is under the rear spare tire area or by the fill pipe and gets dirt and debris inside and it malfunctions.If you have a scan tool then go into out put test and command the vent valve on and off.You should hear a click.If you don`t hear a click then check for power to the vent valve with a test light.If you have power then replace the valve.Hope this helps.Good luck.

The switches can be purchased individualy from any GM dealer. After looking at the replacement switch I am confident you will see how they are attached. Bulb failure is quite common for these.
How do you back flush
You'll have to remove both heater hoses's running into the firewall. Place a container under the hoses Place a garden hose on one of the hoses and with only a little water pressure, let the water run thru the heater core and out of the other hose until clear water exits. No need to play with the heater valve to flush the heater core.

Sounds like the blower motor resistor. It's located under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle just behind the blower motor itself. It's a fairly easy job to do. Just replaced one on my own truck. Good luck :)
