Horn doesn't work on 2000 Corvette -
First u need to check horn by direct battery supply, before that u can try to hear the horn relay sound. If horn & horn relay is ok then u can check steering horn switch/ Ribbon. Wel, is there glowing chk light ?
The car has developed a 'hissing' noise that
a lot of the air vents are controlled by vacumn, some auto stores sell cheap stethescopes to help isolate the leak, before you pull the whole dash apart. change the air vent settings , may help isolate it as well
Reset oil change light
to reset the light put the Drivers instrument console to the oil life remaining position. Hold the reset button until it clears and reads 100%. The light should go off
Tried check engine light is
I do not know if you have tried on your own or had someone do this but you need to plug the code reader in. Once it is plugged in then you need to turn your key to the run position to power the port up and this will also power your reader up.
The car slowes down after drivin few miles,
Look at your fuel filter, It could be clogged and is restricting the high flow of fuel required at speed. This happened to my old Holden Commodore here in Australia. Fuel filters are cheap and quite easy to replace, usually located under your car on the fuel line near the tank or in the engine bay . One more thing to note..... Check your fuel hoses connecting your fuel filter, if they are kinked the same thing will happen.. Always give your fuel easy flow paths, put a large loop in the rubber hose either side of the filter if the hose will kink or the space is tight......
1978 Chevrolet Corvette Air Condition Problem:
Hi! jhr1992 You need to get the vacuum system checked. The A/C is controlled by engine vacuum. Make sure the vacuum hoses are connected under the hood expecialy the one feeding through the fire wall to the AC Control. You should not hear any vacuum leak sound from under the dash. Sometimes you need to pull the control and just do some repair or replacement.

Change front turn signal bulbs
it will be best to use a kitchen fork with the center prongs removed to have this as a tool. the inner skirts front section has round push in clips that will come out if using this fork to pry out with. after removing the plastic baffle you should be able to access the bulb
Back up lights on 2000 corvette won't work.
Go to the Brake Light Switch located on the rear side of the Brake Pedal Arm.
Test this Switch by pushing the plunger in and check to see if you have Brake Lights. If you do have brake lights then the switch is good. Most of these plungers can be adjusted out or in to make a good connection. with the Brake Pedal Arm to activate the brakes.
If you do not have brake lights when you depress the plunger:
Remove the switch from the support arm.
Disconnect the electrical connection.
Check for Voltage.
If you have Voltage: replace the Switch.
If you do not have Voltage then recheck the Fuses and Relays.

INEED TO REPLACE THE POWER ANTENNA IN MY 2000
Hello, i've just checked in the procedure (25 steps in all to take it out, that's a lot!!!) for a antenna replace for you're corvette and would recomand you to go to a dealer to get the antenna replace. You may think it will be caustly but those guys know how to take it appart and won't fool around like any other mecanic that won't have the procedure. I would not recomend you to do it you're self since the procedure requires you to take most of the back end of the car appart. But if you still feel corageous, send me a message and i'll post the procedure for you.
