Unable to do emissions test, just installed new battery 2 days prior

Once the computer looses its memory, the car has to be driven under several different conditions before it has stored the necessary info for the emissions test. The loop includes city driving, highway driving, and more than one or two stops with the key off. The engine has to be at operating temp too. Usually 50 - 100 miles of each will do it.

Replace fuel pump

I believe that all of these cars have an access in the trunk. On my regal the back seat folds down. I was able to then pull up the carpet in the trunk, close to the back seat, and have access to the pump cover. If you back seat does not fold down, you would have to do all of the work through the trunk. There are some great videos on youtube for this. It took less time that I expected. I was very methodical and double checked everything and it took me about 45 min. I could probably do it in under 30 min a second time.

It will help u loctae the dash lights and the fuse box more readily.

Cant resolve a blinker issue, Tried the easy stuff.

The signal wire going to the right front has a splice for the dash indicator, a wire branching off from the turn wire and going to the dash. It sounds like that right signal wire is broken or lost a connection before it splices off to the dash, so the problem sounds like it is under the dash, either coming out of the turn signal switch to the flasher or from the flasher to that splice. You may need a multi-meter to check voltages on that wire at various places under the dash. Ascertain which color wire you need to concentrate on. Check for voltage on it with key on and right blinker on-voltmeter will spike to battery voltage, then fall to zero as the flasher breaks voltage continuously, if checked after the flasher. If checked when leaving the turn switch, it should be a continuous signal on that wire. Think you better find a wiring diagram to find the right wire to check. Good luck.

The odometer display is out...how do I fix?

This may be something that you don't want to tackle yourself, unless you are OK with electronics. You have to pull the gauge cluster, take it apart, and solder in some new resisters. In the top left hand corner of cluster, by the reset button, there are four resistors. They are something like 150 or 180 ohms. I would de-solder all of them and put all new ones in. Once again, don't tackle if you are not comfortable with electronics and solder.

My right turn signal flashes rapidly, and after turning it suppose to turn off itself but i have to turn off the signal manually. the left sometimes turn off itself.. how can i fix this? 98 buick cent

when signal is rapid it useually means that a light is out. About your signal not turning it self off. That is a defective indicator switch which useually means removal of steering wheel.
