Buick lesabre 3.8 liter v6

check the resistance of your fuel injectors.Should be 11.6 to 12.4 ohms, measured between the two prong, with the plug off. Look for one that is out of range low. When you load the engine, this one will **** up all of the electricity, as electricity takes the path of least resistance.

Car won't starts

Vary often this is due to the security system that is more anti-owner more than an anti-theft. There are 3 parts involved:
  1. The chip-key
  2. The lock cylinder
  3. The TDM (aka the brain of the system)
if any of these parts fails or is even slightly malfunctioning, the car stays stuck where you are and you only get a dealer asking you about 1,000$ to fix it. And all the 3 parts have a quite short lifespan. Way too many people got in this situation (including myself). I don't recommend any partial solution or any used parts as it would happen again way too soon to be acceptable and if it happens 100 miles from home (like it happened to me....) it's a big burden. I finally made it to save my beloved 94 Park Avenue (with the exact same system that is installed in your car) with a solution that I found on the internet and that bypasses the entire factory security system, all 3 pieces altogether and you can even remove the TDM at the end and use 99c keys without chip. The product I used is at http://newrockies.com and is still working perfectly after 5 years. Don't go to the dealer!

Yes there is a fuse for the A/C system. If you are definate that there is enough freon in the system, then you must check the wiring diagrams for the a/c system. This would probably involve you taking the car to your service shop for further diagnoses.

Where do I put freon in a 1996 Buick LeSabre?

usually the service port is located on the accumulator. this is the big can looking silver thing under the hood. although i dont recommend just throwing freon in it without the proper gauges to monitor the high and low pressure. you can damage the compressor and components. if your leaking freon having it repaired is more logical then adding freon and having it leak out again. hope this helps

Security light came on car

It's when the security light starts flashing that the infamous "chip" in the key becomes a nightmare to many.
Gradually the car begins not cranking anymore or if it cranks it would start and die in a second. Randomly it will
do this more and more often until it won't start anymore. VATS, PASSkey and Passlock immobilizer systems are
killing cars all over North America, they have a short lifespan and are certainly more effective against owners
than thieves. Here is how you save your car
1st trick, (if not starting) turn the key forward 2 clicks till right before it would normally start, leave like
that for 10 minutes. ( no less ) After 10 minutes, turn key back then forward and your car might start. I did this
in my regal for more than a year. If its shutting down while running, im sorry i have no quick fix... If anything
on this page helps you, please remember to comment or give me a thumbs up on the myfixya sight so i can have a
better rating to help more people on this. You can also Chat with me now as i have moved up in the myfixya world.
Thanks

Cheap fix: Bypass the chip in your key. Temporary, but effective. Until the TDM (theft deterrent module) in the
dash poops out, then you're kinda screwed. I was told that these types of key security systems have a 7-10 year
life span. Sucks for us. This link explains the "Key Issue" pretty well.
----- http://vats.likeabigdog.com/

Never worry again fix: Bypass the whole VATS/Passlock/passkey I or passkey II system entirely. Literally take it
out, and throw it away. I just did this in my Regal. Took about an hour. Took longer to find the thing than it did
to fix the problem. For a list of cars effected by this problem. See the NEWROCKIES link on the right side of
their page......... They sell a unit for 200 bucks to totally bypass this system FOREVER. life time-money back and
all that. Finally did this in my car. Well worth the 200 if you've looked into getting this replaced... Anywhere
from 600-1000 bucks. If you do buy this, please purchase it thru this link. The cost is the same, but i get credit
for the sale and im trying to earn my money back, as you will be able to do if you buy fron NewRockies and join the
free affiliate program. Thanks

----- With this fix, you can take that whole Vats, passlock, passkey **** system out of your car all together. Good
info on both sites.

It works for:
Any GM or Isuzu Vehicle with VATS or PASSKey or PASSLock security systems.
If your car has the chip in the key or in the lock cylinder, then you can save it with this Full Bypass.

Removing water pump from my 1996 buick 3800

Hello fellow Buick LeSabre owner. A few year's ago I replaced the water pump on my 1994 LeSabre and I too encountered a few obsticals. After I figured out how to address these problems I was thjen able to install my new water pump. To assit other LeSabre owners, I posted the actual process on the web. See the attached link for my solution ("Deano/Illinois") and several other comments from other Buick LeSabre owners. The entire process will take you about three hours. Good Luck!
