If no spark - test the ICM.... Ignition control module.
TESTING
Remove the ignition coil(s).
- Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance between the primary terminals on the underside of the coil. The resistance should be 0.50-0.90 ohms.
- Check the resistance between the secondary terminals. It should be 5000-10,000 ohms.
- If the coil failed either test, replace the coil.
REMOVAL and INSTALLATION
See Figure 1
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Tag and disconnect the spark plug wires.
- Unfasten the 2 retaining screws securing the coil to the ignition module, then remove the remove the coil assembly.
- To install:
- Position the coil assembly to the ignition module. -5 Nm).
- Attach the spark plug wires as tagged during removal.
- Connect the negative battery cable.

I can't remember which way they turn, but, you need to get a tool that spins the piston while it spreads. I want to say they spin counter clockwise but I can't remember. You're local auto parts store should have a tool you can rent and they will probably know whick way they spin as they spread.
Diod going bad
are you having charging issues are you thinking the diode in your alternator is bad??????????
On frist attemp to start car, cranks then dies
do you hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn the key to the run position? If not the check the fuel pump relay.
If the car will start and run for a few seconds then die, It may well be the crank position sensor.
Brake lights wont work
Hi. Check for blown fuse inside the fuse box expecially for the brake light fuse. if fuse are ok, check the bulbs. If bulbs are working fine then this could be a wiring problem.

Look at your fuel filter or fuel pump or a bad fitting on your gas line. If the code p0756 shows up. It will be your SHIFT SOLENOID B CKT PREFORMANCE or STUCK (OFF). But more than likely look at your fuel pump.

You might try a crank sensor, most of the time if you pull it out you may see a crack in it. It's between the top of the oil pan an the transmission, good luck.

most likley a fuel pump issue. The only way to know for sure is hook up a pressure gauge and when you have symptoms check the pressure. If you spray some brake cleaner or quick start when it doesnt start and it does start then this is an indication of a failed fuel pump or fuel pump relay. If it still does not start when you spray then you have an ignition issue like a crank sensor or ignition module.
